CMC PAVING CONTRACTORS, INC ESSEX STREET WHITMAN, MA *** [redacted] *** [redacted] [redacted] June 30, Complaint # [redacted] Dear Sir /Madam, I am writing in response to the complaint in which [redacted] has filed against [redacted] Owner of CMC Paving Contractors, Inc CMC Paving installed the driveway @ [redacted] *** [redacted] on June 22, 2014, not May 22, The original estimate # 2014-was for $7,for 2,SqFt and $5,for 1,SqFtthe client chose 2,SqFtand he was charged $5, The customer Mr [redacted] was extremely difficult to work with, he changed his mind several times as to what he wantedand I accomadated him each time with a new estimateHe finally made a decision and the driveway was installedDuring the installation he wanted me to remove a tree stump next to the foundation, I refused due to the location being too close to the foundation and suggested he have it ground down because it was in the mulch bed and would not be noticeableI did not want to be responsible for any damage that may occur I later found that Mr [redacted] brought a 17,LBExcavator on to the newly installed driveway less than Hrsafter installationHe contacted me saying there was small ponding on the driveway, I went to see for myself and I noticed there was damage caused by the equipment he had on the driveway to remove the stump himselfI repaired the damage and the ponding area and Sealcoated the driveway at my expenseHe was satisfied with the outcome at that time we shook hands and I leftI was contacted this year by Mr [redacted] and he requested that I return to re-new the drivewayI offered to come back after the weather had improvedI wanted to wait a while for the pavement to begin to heat up with the warmer weather to be able to blend the pavementfor any repairs needed and that was not sufficient for himI went to look at the driveway after a rain storm and found no ponding.( I took photos of the driveway proving no ponding exists) If I thought the driveway needed to be replaced I would certainly do soI have been in business for nearlyYears and have never had a complaint against me or my companyI don't think that there is any appeasing Mr [redacted] Mr [redacted] also threatened to sue me and put a Lien on my personal property As for Mr [redacted] s claim he paid $7,in cash, enclosed are copies of all forms of payments made to CMC Paving Contractors, Inc On June 23, the client was invoiced as follows: A.) Inv# [redacted] $5, B.)
