Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint At no fault of my own I have not received my pet deposit$was paid and no damages have occurred that need to be recoupedI am entitled to the full $regardless of any stop payments that occurred as none of them have been a result of my actionsI believe this matter is very simple, cut and dry and should have been resolved a while ago if this company practiced business with ethics and moralsA customer should never be charged for a stop payment unless it is a result of direct actions of the customer but that is not the case here Regards, [redacted]

March 19, Revdex.com RE: ID *** To whom it may concern: In response to the previous tenant's complaint: The previous tenant is correct when stating that he did live here for a year, paid a $pet deposit, and vacated on 6/30/He is when stating that I, the
regional manager, stated that I had sent out the check on two different occasions as refund checks are only processed by our accounting department from our corporate officeThe signed pet agreement states that the pet deposit can be fully refunded within days after the tenant vacates the apartment less any damages to the lease premisesThe apartment deposit covered all damage charges therefore the previous tenant was eligible to receive the full $pet deposit refundThe first check for the pet deposit was sent on 8/25/to the address, at *** *** in ***, **, that was provided to us by the previous residentsOur records also show that the apartment deposit balance refund was sent to the same addressOur corporate office does have a notation in the file that the previous resident called in December stating that he had yet to receive the pet deposit and requested that a new check be sent to a different address on ***As a courtesy, even though this was not the original address provided to us, we placed a stop payment on the original pet deposit refund check and sent a new check to the *** address on 1/12/On 2/18/the previous tenant contacted our corporate office again stating that he had yet to receive the pet deposit refund***, the office administrator for our corporate office, took the call and was assisting the previous residentShe pulled his file and confirmed the newest address on file at ***He confirmedAt that time *** had informed the tenant that the pet deposit check was mailed to that that address on 1/12/She explained to him that if we did a second stop payment, after we had already sent a check to each of the addresses that had been provided to us, that he would be charged the $stop payment fee that our company incurs from the bankHe wished to seek the accuracy of this statement and see if the fee could be waived so he requested to speak with the regional managerI, the property manager during the previous residents occupancy and now the regional manager of our Clifton properties, confirmed the information that our corporate office presented to himWe stopped payment on the second check and issued a new check in the amount of $The previous resident did request that he be able to pick up the new check from our corporate officeBefore this was able to be communicated to our accounting department the new check had already been put into the mail, to the address confirmed on ***, on 2/19/15.The previous resident contacted our corporate office again on 3/18/to see if his check was readyAt this time he once again spoke with ***, the office administrator, who realized the last check had been mailed on 2/19/instead of kept at the corporate office for the previous resident to pick up*** took immediate actionShe requested that stop payment be put on the newest check, had a new check created, and contacted the previous resident on the same day to let him know that the check was ready to be picked up from our corporate office as he previously requested.As of 3/18/15, per the previous tenants request the check is ready to be picked up at ourcorporate office located in Blue AshHe will just need to bring a valid photo ID to collect the checkThe check is available for $since we are charging the resident just one of the three stop payment fees that our company has incurred which totaled us $We are not unwilling to refund his deposit as we have put three different checks in the mail and have a check ready for pick up at our corporate officeWe feel that we have been more than accommodating to resolve this issue.We will keep the check at our corporate office for the previous resident to pick upHowever, I did notice that the previous tenant noted a completely different address on his Revdex.com complaint that has not been given to our officesWe would be happy to send to the newest check to this address at his request if the two previous addresses are no longer validThe check will not be sent by certified mail as this is not required of our company.Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any additional questions or concerns. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  At no fault of my own I have not received my pet deposit. $150 was paid and no damages have occurred that need to be recouped. I am entitled to the full $150 regardless of any stop payments that occurred as none of them have been a result of my actions. I believe this matter is very simple, cut and dry and should have been resolved a while ago if this company practiced business with ethics and morals. A customer should never be charged for a stop payment unless it is a result of direct actions of the customer but that is not the case here.

Regional Manager was notified and a full refund of $250.00 was mailed out Thursday February 12, 2015.
