Great company to work with if you ever need an electrical contractor or general contractor in Louisiana.
I paid Core Electrical ~$11K to re-wire my house. They did not get the electrical work permitted as agreed and did not finish the re-wire.
The contracted amount for the re-wire was $12.9K which was to be divided into 3 payments. The contract was executed on June 24, 2019. I paid them $6450 upfront and then $4500 on July 12, 2019 for work that had not yet been started. After the $4500 payment was made, Core Electrical never returned to my house to finish the job. I asked them to complete the job or refund the payment. However, the owner, *** indicated that he would not complete the job since I terminated my relationship with the GC (for failure to follow the plans approved by the city, use of inferior materials, and absence from the project while the work was in progress). I had separate contracts with *** and the GC. I reached out to *** via text, FB and IG messages. He responded and indicated that he would give me a call to discuss the issue. However, he never reached out. Per the contract, they were supposed to re-wire my entire house and install a new breaker, and the work was supposed to be permitted. However, they did not complete any of the items or have the electrical work permitted and I had to pay another electrical contractor to come in and redo everything.
I am seeking a full refund of my payment.
Contracted Electrician was hired to rewire August 2016 flood property and received 90% (materials) of funds to complete the job. Just received notification in March 2018 he was moving to Texas (hear say). However, he was questioned and confirmed was searching for a house. He was notified that I wasn't made aware of him leaving the state and that job must be completed before he leaves. Have tried many attempts to contact electrician by calling, texting, emailing, etc. but have not received a response. Property is not close to 70% done and will require a new company to review, replace and complete the job. Contractor took funds to rewire property and neglected to complete.

Finish the job Require reimbursement of funds to hire another company to complete the job, if will not finish the job with required inspection.
Our company has completed over 90% of the project which is why funds were paid. This customer took over a year to call us back to complete work after she finished other scope of her house which is unreasonably long to expect a contractor to wait. We left her with 10% of work remaining which she still owes a remaining balance to reflect. We will not be finishing this project.
