December 4, 2014Dear [redacted]:On 10/2/14, CMI's client, [redacted], LLC placed a commercial bill for collections with CM, alleging a balance of $14,873.54 owed by a company called [redacted]). The particulars of this balance were provided to CMl to our satisfaction, upon...

placement. My review of the file information indicates that the assigned collector has, indeed, listened to [redacted]'s Claim of disputing the above referenced amount placed, and has tried to work with them to resolve the matter. The problem is, that [redacted] would only offer an amount of $1,100,00 to resolve. [redacted] has already indicated to CMI that that same amount was offered to them by [redacted], and rejected, before placement of the account with CMI.CMI stands ready to negotiate with [redacted] to hopefully get this matter settled with [redacted], but can only approach [redacted], if [redacted] will tender an offer higher than the $1,100.00 that was already rejected by [redacted]. If [redacted] does not desire to negotiate with CMI to resolve, CMI will make a business decision as to Whether to forward the account back to [redacted].Sincerely,Andrew M. Esq.Corporate Counsel

Review: We had a past outstanding debt with [redacted] that we disputed due to leads that were sent to us that were not valid and questionable, as we got leads to remove snow then there was no snow on the ground. We received numerous leads of that nature. They sent us to collections anyway, and On 7-30-2013 I spoke with a representative of CMI, by the name of [redacted]. She informed me that our company could pay $440.46 which would settle and close our account with [redacted]. She NEVER mentioned that charge would first need to be approved by [redacted]. In fact she stated she was looking at the details of our account and determined $440.46 would settle our account and close it. She directed me to whomever takes their credit card information so I could pay the $440.46 to close our account and settle the debt with CMI, and I paid that amount.

Today 7-31-2013 I got a call from [redacted] stating [redacted] would not accept just that amount ($440.46) and they would need another $389.00 to close the account!

This is a highly deceptive practice. Are those conversations recorded? If so, you will not hear [redacted] say one word about the $440.46 needing to obtain approval by [redacted] to okay that "settlement amount". She told me straight forward "This will settle and close your account with us and [redacted]." We were also charged a 4% charge for using our credit card to pay this. When [redacted] (CMI) called this morning & said we will have to pay an additional $389. to settle & close our acct, I told her she never told me anything would need to be approved by [redacted] first, and proceeded to tell me "well, your original bill was $1600......" First of all THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT SHE TOLD ME YESTERDAY!. And second, as I said in the beginning we were disputing what we owed with [redacted] because they sent us invalid leads of which they ended up deducting a substantial amount off our outstanding bill, therefore we didn't owe all they told us we did in the end. I told [redacted] we felt this was a deceptive practice and we would file a complaint and this is not fair. We will also be contacting the attorney generals office to report this practice. Again if the conversation from 7-30-13 was recorded you will hear [redacted] say $440.46 will settle and close your account.Desired Settlement: We would like CMI to abide by the original agreement [redacted] made with me on behalf of [redacted] on 7-30-2013. If we are told $440.46 would settle and close our account, we would like this to be true and have no further amounts owed to either CMI or [redacted] as CMI was acting on behalf of [redacted] and stated to me that in order to close our account with [redacted] we would have to pay $440.46 to settle and close our acct with them and CMI. I was very clear in making sure that $440.46 would end settle our account and no further money would be owed to either [redacted] and CMI if I made that payment, and I was assured it would be closed.

Our company is an accredited Revdex.com member too, and as an accredited business with the Revdex.com your company is also held to a higher standard of service, is that not correct? Saying anything to get people to approve making a payment is wrong and deceptive.

Re: [redacted], your case # [redacted] Dear **. [redacted]:

On approximately 6/3/13, Credit Mediators Inc. (CMI)'s client, [redacted], placed a bill for collections with CMI, alleging a balance of $1,639.69 owed by [redacted] ([redacted]). The particulars of this balance were provided to CMI to our satisfaction, upon placement.

Between 6/10/13 and 7/15/13, [redacted] made partial payments totaling $400.00 toward the above referenced balance.

In [redacted]'s complaint, **. [redacted] claims that an amount of $440.46 plus a credit card fee was paid on 7/30 or 7/31/13 to CMI. This is simply not true. This amount was never processed by CMI and [redacted] can Verify that by reviewing their credit card statement.

As of this writing, the total amount paid by [redacted] was the $400.00 referenced in paragraph 2 above, and the remainder of the balance placed stands at $1,239.69.

If [redacted] desires to resolve this matter, please advise their representative to contact CMI (either the assigned collector, [redacted], or myself) to negotiate a final resolution that can be approved by [redacted]. I can be reached at ###-###-####.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Review: Our account was settled with [redacted] July, 2012 and CMI Credit Mediators, Inc constantly make threaten phone calls and I told them this has been settled with [redacted] in which I have my canceled check.Desired Settlement: Stop calling [redacted] because this was settled with [redacted].

Review: There are two collection accounts with this company via 2 or 3 separate collectors, [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], with none of them apparently communicating accurately internally about the correct status of my accounts with [redacted].

Also this collection agency has failed to provide itemized billing/payment records.

Also the unethical collection practices of this company, making several phone calls a week, sometimes daily, stating the false information below, despite receiving and being informed and knowing the information they are stating is false about the nonpayment of agreement.

$200 per month payments have been made regularly to their client, OrthoTechnology, as agreed upon prior to their client assigning my account to their collection agency.

I have received emails and phone calls stating that my account would be reported to credit bureaus with negative history due to nonpayment and that legal action would be initiated because no payments for the last 2 months have been made. I have cancelled/deposited checks for the dates of April/May that they have claimed that I did not pay. The June payments were made by check on June 25th.

Also the company [redacted] P.A. (account # [redacted]) was terminated in December 2012 and is no longer in business.

Sincerely, Dr [redacted] President, [redacted], P.A.Desired Settlement: Corrected and itemized billing statements monthly of account history.

Remove derogatory credit reporting information based on false, erroneous information due to their poor record keeping and communication with their client.

Refrain from the unethical multiple weekly, sometimes daily, calls as long as I am keeping my monthly payment agreement.

Review: CMI is attempting to collect on account # [redacted]

In our first conversation the representative requested documentation on our situation. We had provided that documentation and explained that this was a contract dispute and we were attempting to pay them the contracted amount.

He said he would get back to us with more information. Instead of that, our most recent conversation was that they escalated this to reporting us to the credit agencies and the company simply wanted the full amount. This did not acknowledge the contract issue.Desired Settlement: We wanted all along to resolve this contract dispute. We look forward to hearing from a more senior representative at CMI.

Review: I received a collection notice from Credit Mediators, Inc. (CMI) dated February 03, 2014 stating that CMI is the authorized agent for [redacted] fka [redacted], a contractor referral service company.

I was asked to join [redacted] in 2011 by [redacted], sales representative, ([redacted]).

This past November, 2013, I was billed for referrals that came to me with inaccurate information that did not meet the customer referral standards that [redacted] practiced. I responded promptly, November 13, 2013 to [redacted]'s email address above. I received an "auto email" reply from [redacted] the following day asking me to refer my credit request to [redacted], ([redacted]). I forwarded my email directly to [redacted]. I have not received a response.

I also answered emails received in January, 2014 from - Pro Customer Care - [redacted]. I have not received information from an authorized representative of [redacted] concerning my credit request.

The Revdex.com may inform me that my complaint belongs with the original creditor and not CMI. [redacted], a subsidiary of [redacted], is not

an accredited business with the Revdex.com. However, CMI, the authorized agent for [redacted] fka [redacted] is an accredited business.

My complaint with CMI is this: The amount CMI is attempting to collect includes a charge, fee or some other expense incidental to the debt oblication. The amount

claimed by the creditor is $ 51.03. The amount claimed by CMI is $ 68.04.

I am asking CMI, under Texas Finance Code Section 392.303, to provide me with proof of a signed agreement between [redacted] fka [redacted] and myself authorizing them or their agents to collect such fees.

I want to say to CMI that however rewarding their association with this client maybe, they are generating a high level of customer dissatisfaction and marketplace

concerns due to the inherent nature of the services they offer.

Regards,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: 1) That CMI, as requested in my complaint, send me proof of of a signed agreement between [redacted] fka [redacted] and myself authorizing the collection

of charges incidental to the debt oblication.

2) That CMI cancel this collection activity and state in a letter to me that any negative credit report or remarks CMI has submitted to TransUnion, Experian &/or Equifax regarding this collection notice, my name &/or my business name be removed within (30) days of the date the letter is mailed to me
