Hi ***,I am so sorry we did not get the email initially, our email was just updated I am responding the complaint filed by larry larrabee He only cancelled bc he didn't like our emails and said it wasn't detailed enough which it is We did let him know at the time of signing up for year round service that if he would cancel service there would be a cancellation fee I personally spoke to larry about his refusal to pay the fee I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and he was never charged the cancellation fee and was never sent to collections I feel as if there isn't anything for Larry to file a complaint about especially since everything he stated never came to fruition We hope this clarifies and addresses the issue If you need to speak to me please feel free to call me Have a wonderful weekend

We were charged for four months of this gyms use and we agreed upon only being charged for the minimum two months*** was not the one who went over the contract with us; *** went over our contract verbally and at no point was there mention of two month minimum or day cancellationIf that had been the case, we would have filed the paperwork that night with intentions on only using the gym for a month. I became angry with the company because I first brought this to the attention of ***, who told me we would have to first contact ***, because *** did not have control of the accounts, which is confusing after reading in the 9rounds response message that *** takes care of accounts due to ***'s unavailabilityI also spoke with another employee, ***, who contacted *** via email, text message, and face to face interaction to call me and resolve the issue, in which *** confirmed to *** he would contact meHowever, it took a week and a half of persistent calling and a call to corporate for *** to contact me *** informed me he could not refund the accounts fully, because only corporate couldHowever, when I spoke with corporate, they informed me *** was the only one capable of refunding the moneyAt no point did anyone else contact me or send me an email stating the issue was being reviewedMyself and my roommate are also members of the National Guard, and I have also run a department with hundreds of customers, yet I made time to handle complaintsThis should be no excuse, and I was totally neglected and treated with disrespect by the owner. At this point in time I am still displeased with the company and would not recommend anyone to the businessI am requesting to be refunded one more month for the agreementAt this point, I have been charged for three months, and my roommate was charged for four with one month being reimbursed although the original agreement was that we were to be charged for two monthsIf need be, we have the banking statements to prove our caseWe were charged February, March, and AprilPlease help us resolve this because this company has no care for customer service or satisfaction.

Part of what [redacted] stated is def true, her and her roommate signed up on Month to Month memberships. At which time they were verbally informed it was a 2 month min and a 30 day notice for cancellation. This is a very standard practice with health clubs around the country.    After...

the 1st month of their membership we received a phone call from [redacted] wondering why she and her roommate were charged again, at which time I reminded them of the 2 month min we discussed at the time of signup. [redacted] didn't recall that being said, I apologized and explained it was the same for everyone and company policy on ALL Month to Month memberships.  I also informed her that the membership had recurring payments until we received a 30 day written notice as discussed at the time of sign up as well as the contract stated(see attached) that was emailed to to both ladies at the time of sale finalization.  At that time she realized that her 3rd payment would run into the window inside the 30 day notice and she would(by policy) be charged a 3rd month but also be able be to access the club until the end of that 3rd month. This is when she became angry and demanded to speak to the owner.  [redacted] can, at times, be difficult to get ahold as he is a Captain in the National Guard and also is an insurance agent, this is why he has put me in charge of handling all aspects of customer accounts. That being said, she did speak with [redacted] and [redacted] agreed to waive their last payment of $62 ea even though we were within our rights to charge them.   We were under the impression this issue was resolved and both parties were happy, we went beyond what we needed to do to resolve it. If we refunded every person that didnt utilize their membership we would be out of business. I have attached a copy of [redacted]'s membership agreement as well as or in club pricing sheet. We just had our pool completely redone – including new tile, cool deck and pebble Tec. It looks great! CMK is professional, very easy to work with and communicated with us every step of the way. The weekly pool service is also outstanding. I highly recommend this company for weekly pool service or if you want everything redone. I rate them AAA!

Chris quoted me $350, which I assumed was for replacement of my pop up gear and heads. The repair tech was really nice and did the work promptly. He also left behind the old parts and the box the new parts came in. As it turns out, my pop up heads, according to the tech were fine...just needed the gear replaced.

I then found out my wife had emailed several other pool contractors and they all quoted between $85-$100 for the work plus parts. When I looked up the part online (exact same manufacturer and stock number of the kit, I discovered it cost $75. This means I was charged over twice what the repair should have cost.

While the repair was done fine and I liked the tech Chris sent out, I believe I was charged too much (twice) what this should have cost. $350 may have been fine if they replace the pop up heads also, but for just the gear kit, I believe I was overcharged. If this did not happen, I would have used them for my weekly pool service.

I am sure Chris and CMK do good work but it turns out, I could have saved at least $150 and right now, I could have used these funds for my daughter's medical bills.

Next time I'll be more careful to get other bids first. I suggest you do the same before you decide to use CMK pools.

This company does great work. Staff is friendly and owner is a pleasure to work with. Fast repsonse times and trustworthy. We will definitely recommend them to our neighbors.

CMK Pools did a remodel on our pool which included a depth conversion from 9.5 to 5.5 feet. From the time we signed our contract until completion was only about two and one half to three weeks. Mark our project manager kept us informed on the progress and when each part of the job was scheduled. He advised us that due to the age of the original pool construction we should replace the old pool plumbing, other contractors said they would just do a pressure test which cost a couple hundred dollars, i'm glad we decided to pay a bit extra to do business with a trustworthy company since I have heard so many horror stories about bad pool contractors. we are very happy with the results. My family loves our new pool and it came out beautiful.

These guys are the best! I highly recommend them. The owner has gone above and beyond to ensure we are happy.

CMK pools is awesome! They have done everything they said they would, and have done an excellent job! Everyone ,especially [redacted], have been so helpful! I am looking forward to meeting [redacted], my weekly serviceman!

I selected CMK Pools for my pool and pool deck remodel/upgrade project. I went from a wore out plaster pool to pebble w/ abalone. The pool deck all around was redone and extended all the way over and up against the house where there was bare concrete. All the concrete joints had cap joint strips installed. My outdated & ugly fiberglass/chicken wire waterfall was replaced with natural Wickenburg, AZ rock. New pool jets and anti-entrapment main drain covers were installed.
Our selection of color, design and overall effect of the pebble, tile and lace deck turned out perfect. Wow! Such a snazzy awesome pool.
I noticed at each step/phase of the project a crew specializing and expert in that procedure would arrive to do their part so there were several specialist crews each doing their specific part. And each time that later touch-up was needed it was done by the those that took part in that scope of work. It was the skilled install and touch-up that aced my project.
Communication between me and the owner was outstanding and at no time was I stalled off, ignored or concerned. Coordination of the different crews arriving went notably well and kept my project moving forward on time.
The project was completed today. The owner himself arrived this morning to personally perform startup procedures which all went well. And after I ran my pool all day while brushing, vacuuming and netting, then shutdown, my pool is a jewel in my backyard and my wife and I are very satisfied and pleased with the result. It is as good or better than I was told it would look so the expectation was exceeded.
The cost of this was favorable and under my allotted budget cap. From the owner to the work crews they all performed hardworking, committed and professional with expertise gained from full time employment performance. I did not detect any newbies or novices.
You would not likely find a better pool remodel company.
I aced it choosing CMK Pools.
And CMK Pools aced it doing the work.

One of the best remodeling project ever. The salesman was very professional, attentive, communicative, and on time for every meeting. He kept me informed on a daily basis on with the process.

When asked the time frame to complete the remodel, he stated up to 3 weeks. The entire remodel from start to finish was 10 days. Doing the remodel, my life or my animal's lives were never compromised. I was informed on when and how long the workers would be at my house. His nightly text messages on my opinion of the process of overwhelming. I would definitely recommend CMK Pools.

It was a true honor to do business with CMK Pools. No surprise! No haggling. And no assumptions.

I have seen the positive reviews for CMK remodeling services and I have no idea if they are good or bad in that regard. However, I have first hand experience at their pool maintenance service and I am here to tell you that they are very bad.
The first time they came out they did a good job and I was satisfied. That was the end of my satisfaction. The next time they came out the guy told me to get a leaf canister. He didn't ask me if I could get. He didn't say it would be a good idea. He TOLD me. I told hem that we had never had one and there had never been a problem. He said we had too many leaves that were clogging everything up and they couldn't clean my pool without one. So...I got a leaf canister. Next time he tells me my pool robot is no good. It is a Barracuda and was of the largest selling pool cleaners in the country. He says my leaves clog the pool cleaner. He tells me to get "The Pool Cleaner". Says it is the only sweeper that can handle these leaves. This would be a $500 dollar expense and I decided we can get by just fine with the Barracuda. After a few more weeks and one more time of being told I must get "The Pool Cleaner" I receive a call from the company telling me that if I don't immediately replace the pool sweeper with the product they have told me to get, they will cease service. They said that there guy was spending an hour each visit to clean our pool because we still didn't have a canister and hadn't replaced our sweeper. My family and I consulted each other and agreed that no one had ever seen them there longer than about 30 minutes. Second, we did get the canister. Third we don't have that many leaves and we have a perfectly good sweeper.
Our conclusion: This company doesn't want to clean pools. They want you to have everything in place to make sure that all they have to do when they come out is backwash the filter and adjust the chemicals and be on their way. Nothing wrong with that if that is the service someone is paying for. That is basically a chemical treatment only service. Most places charge about $30 a month for this. But, we were paying a lot more than that because we had a pool CLEANING service. They want to charge for cleaning but they don't want to do the cleaning.
I should also point out that of the 7 times they came out for service, 3 times they did not show up on the scheduled service day, but next day with out warning. pointed out that we still hadn't gotten the new sweeper, Last visit he said he was going to his truck to get his stuff and then left without telling us and without service. One of the times they were late it was a whole day late and came while we were in the pool swimming.
After there last visit (but no service) we called to get things straightened out. Spoke to the owner. He was rude and arrogant. He made it clear that his people don't have time to clean the kind of mess we have. Our pool is clear and we take out most of the leaves that fall ourselves while swimming. These people are either delusional or they just figure they can get away with collecting a lot of money for not doing anything. Fortunately for us and for anyone reading this, there are plenty of pool services and I will be glad to take my business and my money elsewhere. Don't be taken advantage by these people.

Best, most reliable and helpful I've found since I've moved here in 1998. They are always here when they say they're going to be and have always been available to answer any questions or concerns I've had. Courteous and professional all the way!

When our 30-year old pool and surrounding decking needed renovation, we used CMK Pools & Remodeling LLC. We highly recommend CMK for any pool needs.

With CMK, we got what we paid for: excellent customer service, a job well done by people who take pride in their work, NO stress, and a warranty. CMK also started and finished the job on schedule; it was done in just over a week.

We believed CMK Pools Owner/Operator [redacted] would take care of us and he did. Questions and concerns were asked and promptly addressed. [redacted] was in contact during all phases, from removing old plaster to finishing touches. He let us know which team was coming and its role in the remodel. The crews of skilled craftsmen were friendly, hard-working and fun to watch. They are true artisians and it shows in their demeanor and finished product.

Pool renovation is a huge project and best suited for an experienced business like CMK. The owners are part of a family with a long history of pool renovations in the Valley. Now they are part of my “pool family,” as I intend to use some of their maintenance services.

We had eight of the top pool remodeling companies come to our home to get a bid for remodeling the pool and surrounding decking. This process took us four months to complete before choosing CMK pools. We were at a point of not doing anything for a long time because we were so disgusted with the lack of professionalism with each company except for CMK Pools. We had all the big name companies come out to the house and one by one they each failed to return calls, give a proper bid, or even provide a bid at all. Each one of those companies tried to upsell us or failed to even give proper guidance in terms of equipment or product. CMK was the last company and thank God we gave [redacted] a chance. He was prompt on everything and his crew worked harder than any company we have ever seen or for that matter heard about. The pool was done in pebble tec with abalone shells mixed in which gave it a tropical deep blue look. [redacted] and [redacted], who own the company, took a proactive approach to everything. They even used a tag-team approach to cover summer vacations, never missing a beat on the project. They did such a great job that we had CMK pools remodel over 2,000 sq feet of decking. We went with travertine and if we could post pictures you would not believe the difference CMK made on the entire backyard. We know it's scary dealing with companies you don't know, but we have all of our neighbors wanting to remodel thier pools and decking now after we had everyone over to see the backyard. I would like to take the time to thank CMK Pools for outstanding customer service, I called them to help with an issue I was having with my pool not only did they come the same day, they fixed the problem on the spot. They were professional, knowledgeable, and very fair with their pricing. I would recommend them to anyone and especially to my own family. They now service my pool and mothers pool.

Had a plaster pool looked like the moon - full of craters. I wanted pebble tech and new tile around the top. CMK did a fantastic job! Showed up when they said they would, organized, specific personnel showed up performed their job and the next day another group arrived. Smooth, good experience. I love my pool, its beautiful! Good people!

We recently moved into a new home and the existing in-ground pool was badly in need of a remodel. After contacting a few pool contractors that couldn't even bother to offer a return call, we found CMK Pools through a Google search and feel very fortunate that we did. Mark came by to provide a very fair quote and explain in detail what would be done to complete the job. We placed a pretty strict deadline on him due to family coming into town and we were assured that it would be no issue. Mark communicated with us each and every day to let us know what they'd be working on and when his team would be showing up. Although the project hit a couple unexpected snags, Mark and the CMK Pools team was able meet our timeline while producing a wonderful end product.

Do not hesitate to call CMK Pools if you're considering a remodel. Your pool will thank you.
