C'mon Inn Reviews (1)
Review: I made a reservation with this Cmon Inn online on 8/18/12. The quoted price was $114.99 + tax. I received a confirming email later that evening that the price with tax was $124.04. We originally booked the room for 2 nights, but we later changed the reservation to just 1 night. I confirmed with Amanda from Cmon Inn the price at the time of changing our reservation was still $114.99 + tax, and considered everything to be in order. We went to Billings, stayed the night, and were checking out of the Inn the next morning. The woman who was working the desk told me the total charge was $140.09. I asked her why so much? She replied "That the computer said the room rate was $129.00", and she had to go by what the computer said. I told her what I had been quoted for a price of $114.99, and a man also working behind the desk said "we don't have any rates for $114.99; the cheapest we have is $119.99". I was just floored that they both would tell me something like this, but my wife, son, and I had places to go, and things to do, so I wasn't going to argue with these 2 people. I paid $140.09, got my receipt, and left.I told my wife what had happened, and she wasn't too happy about, as could be expected. We both agreed I would contact the Cmon Inn when we got back home to Great Falls. We finally arrived back in Great Falls, and I sent an email to the Cmon Inn regarding what we considered to be deceptive practices, and awaited a response. To this day, I have yet to receive a response of any sort, or a check to cover the difference between what I was quoted, and what I was charged for the room.Desired Settlement: All we want is a refund from the Cmon Inn for the difference between what we were quoted, and what we were charged.
Per call from consumer ~ business offered the consumer half-off a future stay and consumer is happy with that and says case has been resolved. cmm
