*** *** purchased a *** Uplander on July 16,from the *** ***/CNAC franchise located in Dorchester, MA. In January 2016, CNAC was notified that Ms***’s vehicle was in an accident. Subsequently, the vehicle
was deemed a total loss by her insurance provider. CNAC then received payment from Ms***’s insurance provider for the *** Uplander. However, after applying the insurance proceeds, there was a deficiency balance left on the account. This deficiency, in part, includes the deductible that Ms*** did not pay to CNAC. In a show of goodwill and in the spirit of customer service, CNAC decided to write-off the balance owed and mailed to Ms*** a “Settlement after Total Loss” letter. This document effectively settles her account and is proof that she no longer has any further obligations to CNAC. We have reported the settlement to the Credit Reporting Bureau’s, however, we have no control over have fast they update customer records

Ms. [redacted] came into our office on 9/01/2016 and paid up to date. Once the payment was made the repossession was cancelled.
