If I could leave zero stars, I would. I authorized these crooks to take ONE payment of 276.88 for my payment. They decided to take TWO and put my account in the negative. So, not only will my other bills be returned but I will also be charged return fees because of their actions. I am absolutely DISGUSTED AND SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!

Such a bad Company
All I will say is do not get a car if you have to use this company. Because they don't care about the people who have to go through them. They don't care about your situation. And if your even 10 days late on your payment they schedule your vehicle for repossession. Which doesn't matter to them because for all they care. They got all the money from you up to that point. Any now they just get to sell the car at full price again.

They repo my car because the agent got emotional
I have only had the car for two months. My roof was leaking water the sun roof never opened. The tire in the back began to lose air and I had to put air in it daily. So my car note was due on 7/15/22 and I’m a working nurse but anywho they were calling me twice a day until Tuesday 7/19/22 they called my bf and told him that they were wanting the location of the car. I called them back to pay my payment when I was told no. They refused to take my payment all because the agent got emotional she told me because I had a attitude with her she will refuse my payment and decided to repo my car and back out of my car loan. Her name is Samantha and I think she has too power that she get emotional and repo my car. But I would never do business with ByRider and I would never refer anyone to them. I have a appointment with another car place to get myself another car. And have a better experience this time around.

Review: I had a family member place me down as a reference to purchase a vehicle from JD ByRider. She must have become behind in payments. Earlier this year I spoke with someone from CNAC and told the person I would pass along the message to [redacted] to call. Things went quiet and then in June I got another call. I advised that I would pass them message along again. This time I blocked the number so I wouldn't be bothered. In late June I began receiving calls from [redacted] I did not know who this number belonged to so I did a reverse phone search and find it to be a personal cell phone. So I blocked that number as well. On my phone I have an app that keep track of how many times a blocked phone number tries to call. The above mention phone # call me 06/27/2016 ( this is the day I blocked the number), 06/28/2016, 06/292016, 07/01/2016, 07/09/2016, 07/11/2016, 07/26/2016, 07/27/2016, 07/28/2016, and 08/08/2016. On 08/08 I called the number back and when a woman answered the phone I ask whom I was speaking with. She said [redacted]. I asked why she was calling me she said let me lookup your number on the computer then said is this [redacted]. When I said yes who are you. she went into the spill of needing to contact [redacted]. I promptly told her that I had pass all the message and if she isn't getting back with you then I can't help you anymore. I did email the company this morning but I have not gotten a reply. I am completely blown away by the harassment that I am receiving and I am just listed as a reference. I feel for the customers who have chosen to do business with JD ByRider/CNAC.Desired Settlement: I wish not to be contacted anymore about a vehicle payment that probably needs to be repossessed she the customer is that far behind.

This complaint is filed against J.D. Byrider in error. J.D. Byrider is the selling dealer and does not collect payments. J.D. Byrider and CNAC are two separate companies.

This is a duplicate complaint but here is my response to the original id #[redacted] on Aug 10th. This message originally read on 8/10/2016We are sorry to hear that [redacted] is not happy with CNAC. We can understand that she may not understand how collections on high risk loans are handled. She acknowledges accepting a few calls before blocking our cell # so we had no idea she wanted to be placed on a do not call list. We ask for next of kin and personal references on the credit application for when customers do not communicate. That is standard business practice in the world of finance not to mention high risk finance. Also calling once a day as she states is not considered harassment and we only had her number because she was listed as a reference by [redacted]. In this case once we received word from [redacted] that she did not want to be contacted again as a reference for [redacted] on 8/9/16 (yesterday) we removed her number from our system.

Review: I'm on short term disability been off since August 18, 2013. Took a check to Jdbyrider said it didn't go thru. So I torn the check up. When I received payment on disability paid 379 by debit, said was 13 days late. So when got next payment from disability. Had a - balance 222.00. So called the bank they said check wrote on 10/31/13. I didn't write a check that date. Only check wrote was the one that didn't go thru. Was posted on 11/1/13. For check wrote 9/06/13 I made the payment of 379 10/24/13. Also have statement where over draft 36.00 and 189.00 bank took. They trying to tell me they got their money, something about some company and bank getting their. My bank wouldn't allow me to do that was already overdraft. Next payment would be 11/08 /13. I didn't pre-authorized payment my check I wrote was check number [redacted].Desired Settlement: Just explain where money when to. I'm willing to pay bill. But they call people, tell my business. Ask can I borrow money. I get short term disability at moment. The payment agree was my paydays . They were little getting my disability first check got was 10/13. Been out work since 18th of August. Desired settlement credit to my account.

[redacted] the Branch Mgr. of CNAC had a phone conversation detailing what happened with some of the more recent payment postings for [redacted] yesterday 11/11/13. We are willing to explain again by phone or in person just as it was offered yesterday however we have posted each and every payment correctly for Mrs [redacted] and details of the account flow are below. The confusion is that she didn't understand we use a check verification system (Telecheck) and we do not deposit the actual check ourselves. We scan the check through the telecheck machine which guarantees her funds to us and they process it on from that point. I don't have enough information to respond completely but I believe part of the problem is that money is owed to telecheck for a returned check but like I stated our funds are guaranteed by Telecheck. This was part of yesterdays conversation. Her account is set up for bi-weekly (every 14 days) payments of $189. If you follow the flow below you can see where she paid with gaps greater than the 14 days and from our side we posted the payments when they were received. If she has a question with telecheck she is given a receipt at the time of payment with contact information on it or if she would like assistance going forward she can contact [redacted]. 8/3/13 $189 - check [redacted] - 1 day late 8/22/13 $189 - check [redacted] - 6 days late 9/4/13 $189 - check [redacted] - 5 days late 9/20/13 $189 - check [redacted] - 7 days late 10/9/13 $189 - cash - 12 days late 10/24/13 $379 - debit/credit - 13 days late currently due for 11/8/13 $189 which is 4 days late. My bank have a check they put in electronic dated 10/31/13 . Bank let go thru on 11/1/13. Like I told you all made a payment 379.99 on 10/24/13. Next payment was due 11/8/13 . That check wrote to CNAC that was paid. Like I said I get short term disability at moment. I know payment was late. Been off since August, first check got was Oct. 22, 2013 . Trying to get my bill paid the best I can. Disability check wrote than take two or three to post to my account. They say they working with you, then due something different. Thank you for trying to help me.

Review: according to the contract I signed I have read the promise to pay and payment terms. it states that I agree to pay my scheduled payments on due date or as shown in the truth and lending disclosures I PAY A 5% LATE FEE AFTER 7 DAYS OF DUE DATE, AND I AM IN DEFAULT OF CONTRACT AFTER 10 DAYS. I HAVE ONLY BEEN REALLY LATE OF 4 DAYS ON ONE PAYMENT. I CANT ALWAYS GET OVER TO THERE BUILDING ON A FRIDAY SO I PAY ON MONDAY. BUT I GET HARRASSING PHONE CALLS EVERY SATURDAY MORNING. THIS MORNING ON JULY 27TH I TRIED TELLING WHAT THE CONTRACT SAID AND THE LADY BLEW ME OFF. I GET PAID ON FRIDAYS SO SOMETIMES I AM WAITING FOR MY CHECK TO CLEAR THE BANK. SO I DONT GET STUCK WITH BOUNCE FEES. THE JDBYRIDER AND CNAC ARE CONNECTED IT IS THE SAME NUMBER AND SAME PLACE TO MAKE PAYMENT OF VEHICLE SO THE CONTRACT I SIGNED SHOULD BE LEGIT SO STOP HARRISING MEDesired Settlement: STOP CONTACTING ME ON SATURDAY IF MY PAYMENT ISNT THERE BY MONDAY THEN CALL ME

During the loan closing this is explained in detail as well as we make sure the due dates fall with pay days of our customers and that they understand and agree to theterms, I have attached a sample of the Statement of Understanding signed by each customer atloan closing. # 7 is specific to this complaint: 7, I understand that all payments must be received on or before the due date shown on theContract. I understand that these dates cannot be altered or changed. The contract that [redacted] speaks of does include language for a late fee after 7 daysand default after 10 days. However, our goal at CNAC is to keep the customer current andprevent any extra fees from being charged to help our customers improve their credit. CNAC isin the sub-prime lending business which means we handle loans for people who have had a creditissue in the past. Our goal is to protect them from having negative credit issues in the future so itis our policy to make a reminder call on day 1 of delinquency in an effort to begin to resolve apayment issue if there is one. I can appreciate someone not understanding this if it hadn't been explained in detail and signedbut we go to great extremes to make sure out customers know we are here to help them notharass them.
