TO Whom It May Concern,This is in response to your letter containing a copy of the complaint submitted about issues with the house at [redacted] The letter was incorrectly addressed to [redacted] instead of CNR Properties LLC, the prior owner of the property.The complaint referenced cracking plaster and termite damage in some beams.Prior to settlement on May 13, 2016, two inspections occurred as specified in the contract:CNR Properties hired [redacted] to conduct the termite/pest inspection as the contract requiredThe inspection report (see attachment) was provided to the buyersThe report, Page section Band Page Inspector's Statement of Visible Damage, clearly states that a beam in the basement shows signs of termite damage, and that there was visible evidence of previous treatmentThe page of the report also states the following: "it should be understood that some degree of damage, including hidden damage, may be presentIf any questions arise regarding damage indicated by this report, it is recommended that the buyer or interested parties contact a qualified structural professional to determine the extend of damage and the need for repairs"Page of the report marked with XX the location of the damaged beam on a graphIt also states "if x appears on the graph, it is advisable that a qualified building expert inspect the property to determine what effect, if any, the infestation/damage has upon the structural integrity of the property."The buyer's contracted for their own home inspectionThe buyers requested CNR Properties address several items identified in the Home Inspection Report, an agreement was made between Seller and Buyer and the Home Inspection Contingency was removedNone of the items mentioned in the Revdex.com complaint were identified during this process.CNR Properties did not intentionally do anything to try to hide any structural problems or termite damageThe buyers were provided the information on the termite damage and had the opportunity to Cancel the contract, or Consult a structural professional, but chose neitherThey chose to proceed to settlementIf other issues have surfaced since settlement that existed prior to settlement, then the new owners should contact their home inspector about the quality of their home inspection.Sincerely,Mary D [redacted] ***
