To whom it may concern. On this 2nd day of February 2017 I am responding about the customer complaint. About the 2002 [redacted] vin number [redacted],The customer called in a day or two prior to purchasing the 2002 [redacted], at this time told customer the asking price is $2899 with a...

warranty, but if we go any lower on the price of the vehicle it will be sold as is no warranty. The Customer then came in the next day and test drove the vehicle he said that it drives and shifts good and would like to purchase it. The price agreed on was $2400. I then told the customer at $2400 it's going to be sold as is, but if anything was to happen or go wrong with the vehicle even if it was a couple weeks or a couple months down the road, to call in and we will try to help him solve the problem I stated,, as in let's say if something goes wrong and his Mecanic would charge him $400 to fix a problem are Mecanic we go to can get it done for half the cost. But he would be responsible for paying the bill. Now around on or about January 9, 2017 the customer called in and said he is having issues with the transmission .then said we know a good Mecanic you can take it to to see what it is and he would be able to checkit out and if anything needs to be fixed he can get it done at a lower cost, the customer then took the vehicle in and got it checked out January 12, 2017 and the Mecanic said the wheel bearing and emergency break cable was wearing down. Which should be replaced, and even though the customer bought the vehicle as is , to show good faith we Told the customer not to worry we would cover the bill for him. It was $404.20 and we payed it January 16, 2017. The Customer called me back a day later and said he feels like his transmission is bad again I called the Mecanic back at which time he said they test drove the vehicle and the transmission was fine, but that sometime in the future not now but soon  the customer would have to get the front wheel bearing replaced. I then called the customer back and explained to him what I was told and that his transmission is ok. But the front wheel bearing will need replaced not now but soon. the customer then said he took the vehicle to another Mecanic and they stated the engine and trans have no codes but cv axle , does have play to it, front wheelbearing has play to it and transfer case is low on fluid it needed 1 quart offluid, The Estimate cost he said it would be was $600. I stated at this time I can refer him to are Mecanic that can get it done for him at half the cost $300 he stated he wasn't interested in paying to get it fixed. He then called the Mecanic out in Easton pa that did the inspection on the 2002 [redacted], which was done in October 2016 4 months earlier, at which time he told the Mecanic in Easton that his wheel bearing,CV axle and transfer case is , going bad that why was it inspected. The owner told him that at the time of inspection which was in October of 2016 4 months earlier the vehicle was passable and that everything was ok, but to show good faith if the customer would bring it in he would replace it free of charge, at which time the customer said it would be $40 in gas money to go there the owner in Easton pa said he would reimburse him with the $40 gas money also, At this time the customer told him he wanted $500 in cash and that he would do the work himself and if he didn't get the $500 in cash he would take the owner in Easton that did the inspection to court. A day later the customer called me back and said if I didn't fix the problems he said or is stating that is wrong he would post a bad review on us and take us to court. Ive answered the customers calls every time even went lower on the asking price, payed a bill of $404.20 offered half off on other bill cost. I'm sorry he still feels upset But at this time we can't cover any more bills for the vehicle. And again apologized to him for feeling the way he does and about advertising the vehicle (as clean underneath wheel wells has no rust, no issues)) meant the vehicle had no issues with rust or holes. It did not mean with a vehicle being 15 years old it would be in perfect condition. but that with buying it with a warranty would have covered him with any and all existing and or future problems. , I apologized and payed the bill after he bought it as is to show good faith and that yes we might have a car checked out by the Mecanic and its ready to go and we have it sit here for a couple months witch customers test drive it and maybe something goes wrong on that test drive that we can't foresee but that's why we always offer a warranty so if something was to have a existing or future problem that we didn't Foresee the customer would be covered.Authorized  Representative
