To whom it may concern,[redacted] has been a patient of our practice for the past five years, and has had Botox treatments in the past without any bruising. [redacted] phoned us one day following her treatment, on March 24th and spoke to Monica.  Monica said she was sorry that this happened, but it can...

sometimes happen and that is why we have all our patients sign consent forms, as [redacted] did for this date of service. Monica suggested to [redacted] to email a photo to an email address we use only to view sent photos.  Monica checked and received the photo and reviewed it with Dr. [redacted]. Dr. [redacted] saw that her right eye was bruised, and the left eye did not bruise.  He advised Monica that the photos did not look alarming and that sometimes bruising can occur and it will resolve.  Mary B[redacted] Practice Administrator also spoke to Dr. [redacted] about this, and was involved by phoning the patient back on March 24th to let her know that it was ok, was sorry she bruised, and if she still had concerns on Friday, the next day, she could call and we would put her in with Dr. [redacted].  That evening Monica saw [redacted] at Yoga, and again [redacted] asked Monica what she thought. Monica said [redacted] had make-up on and you couldn't really see it, she also told her that she personally always bruises and it would be fine.  [redacted] did not call that Friday March 25th, or any other time to come in and see Dr. [redacted] for her bruise concerns.  After reading the Revdex.com complaint, Monica and I both searched through our work emails for an email from [redacted], we do not have any.  Today we thought to look at the email address for photos that [redacted] was given, only because of this complaint, and there was one email from [redacted] on March 31st.  This photo email is only to receive photos, and is not managed/reviewed on a daily or even weekly basis.  We only go to this email to receive photos, this is why [redacted] claims we did not respond to her email.  [redacted] also did not phone the office again regarding this complaint. We do not refund for medical services that were rendered. Services were performed and bruising and swelling can be a risk factor when receiving injections.  The patient did acknowledge and sign a consent for this, as all of our patients do each time they receive any injection(s).We do not wish [redacted] to be unhappy, we can offer her one complimentary injection to be done within 4 months following March 23, 2016. So the complimentary offer will be effective until July 23, 2016.Thank You,Mary BarrigarPractice Administrator

The patient is requesting a refund for services rendered one year ago. As a medical and surgical practice, we do not provide refunds.  The practice denies harassing this patient in anyway.  We send all of our patients statements for balances due.  The patient was given more product than she paid for and was billed for this.  After speaking to the patient on 10/06/14 I advised her that I would adjust and write off the balance of $150.

well I really just want them to eat the 150.00  they mistakingly used on me...I prepaid for 400.00   that's all I had at the time..it took me 4 months to save the 400.00..  so if they stop harassing me about their mistake...and don't ruin my credit,,as thay said..ill drop the...

case

Consumer called and stated this issue is completely resolved.

We are very sorry to hear [redacted] is not pleased with our resolution. As I stated in our last response, [redacted] has been coming to the office for five years without bruising, nothing was alarming about her photo, and it did not interfere with her daily schedule including exercise.  Once you get a bruise, there is not anything that you can do, and it can be a result from the injection, we are sorry she received a bruise.   [redacted] mentioned a microdermabrasion at Skinlaze prior to her visit with Dr. [redacted] is a separate LLC from our practice, CNY Facial Surgery Group, PC with a separate scheduling system..  I am certain that if Dr. [redacted] felt there was any concern to not receive the injection, he would have advised not.An elective medical procedure was done, it was effective and provided a positive result for the correction of facial wrinkles and lines. Bruising is resolved and a complimentary injection was offered to help offset the cost of a future injection.  If [redacted] does not plan to return to our office, that is her decision, and we are sorry that she feels this way. Thank You, Mary BarrigarPractice Administrator
