We at CNY Property Management strive to keep our owners happy. At this time, Edward Jenkins is paid up in full and is up to date. As the bank held his one deposit, he was unable to view the funds. Both checks have been deposited and his checks are now being mailed to avoid the bank issues. We are...

still managing his property and working hand in hand with him.

This company posts rentals on [redacted] however doesn't call back prospective renters. I have tried multiple times and left many messages yet no one will call back.
Not exactly good business practice.

It is true that rent has not been paid because of the multitude of repairs that are not only needed for my apartment but also other apartments and the building itself. The complaints that have been made against this business is with the Code Enforcement. An inspector who looked at my apartment spoke about outstanding repairs needed in other buildings. Due to the lack of repair the maintenance men have repeatedly found homeless people living in an apartment that has a broken window. The repairs that were finally made after this particular complaint were completed for my own apartment except for the front door. The repairs they made were very easy. A leaking garbage disposal was removed and straight plumbing were put in and new door knobs were put on the internal doors. The solution the repairmen came up with for my front door were adhesive weather strips that ended up making it difficult to lock my door. Then they started to come off because they were no better than stickers. The problems that are the most major that are being ignored are my front door and the door to the building. The door to the building works well enough for it not to be an issue with Code Enforcement but not well enough for the people who live in the building to lock the door without it jamming. Therefore many people do not lock the doors because they would not be able to get back in. That leaves it open for the people in the neighborhood and other homeless to come and sleep in our building at night and smoke illegal drugs. All the time my apartment and the apartment of the neighbors smell like spike because of the people who do not live here smoking in the hallways. I am home every day and watch pretty closely what the maintenance man does and does not do. Prompt service has only come because of the multiple complaints I have been able to make with different companies. When the apartment I live in is secure enough to not have the neighborhood smoking in the halls then we will most definitely continue a payment arrangement. The arrangements made before were based on the repairs that were not made more than financial difficulty. An eviction would not stop the complaints that will come from these buildings because I have been educating and speaking with other people in the building. They are just as sick of the lack of care for their building as I am.

January 15th, 2015 CNY Property Management has an AAA rating and has never had a complaint. We find this complaint ludicrous. We are at the property every other day if not every day cleaning the buildings and hallways. We have fixed both of these items in the past and will continue to do so. As soon as we received this complaint, we dispatched a maintenance worker and completed the work. Once the work was complete, we asked the tenant to sign off on the work order. Enclosed please find a copy of the work order related to the complaint. We believe this tenants complains stems from her not paying her rent. We have made many attempts to set up a payment arrangement through emails. She has failed to follow through on her arrangement and at this time we are proceeding with eviction.

We at CNY Property Management do not hold any money. We issue the payments at the beginning of the following month. We have emailed this owner on several occasions in response to work that needs to be complete and regarding the payments in regards to the bank. When we issued payments at first, the...

checks would be placed in the owners name and not the LLC name that the account was open under.  Chase bank would not allow us to deposit the check with out being in the LLC name. We have had multiple issues with other owners.  I informed the client that we would have to reissue the check and the have the owner sign a new one as he is the only authorized signer on the checks.  Once the check was signed, the check was deposited into the account. One of the checks was a bank error from June of 2015.  The client just realized the error in December and contacted them. We informed the client that we would have to contact the bank as we closed that particular account due to fraudulent activity.  Once we verified with the bank regarding the error, the check was re-issued for the difference and placed in there account. We have worked with the client for the past 5 years and we continue to work with the client striving to make improvements.
