Please see below the two emails we received from our customer concerning their deposit return, the first dated July 20th, the second the 30th.  It was upon receipt of the second email that an official deposit return request was submitted to our accounting department by our sales...

department.  On August 5th our accounting department processed the request for the deposit refund and following instructions received from the sales representative about payment delivery, prepared the check for office pick-up the same day.  The check remained in our office ready for pick-up for at least a week.  We were under the impression our customer knew their check was available, but it’s apparent from the complaint dated the 13th of August that they were not aware the refund had already been processed.  I do not know how the check was finally received by Ms. [redacted] (by mail or by pick-up at our office), just that it cleared our checking account on the 19th of August.   I trust at this point the customer would agree that the complaint has been resolved.  We value the trust each customer places in our company, and am regretful we allowed both the 15 day delay in processing as well as the subsequent miscommunication about the delivery of the deposit return to occur.  Crystal R[redacted]Office Manager   From: [redacted][mailto:[redacted]@whidbey.com] Sent: Monday, July 20, 2015 7:57 AMTo: DeAnna W[redacted]Subject: Re: asbesto removal  Hi DeAnna,Well, we finally have all the bidsback and this project has become financially not “do-able”.  The septic bids range from 8-10 thousandbecause according to the Island County Health Dept it is considered a “changeof use” and system must be upgraded.
