Ccsa has been great for me selling a large collection that I received from deceased relative. I got more money than I hoped for and was paid in less time than I was promised. Would recommend Ccsa to any friends in need of sports or celebrity auction services
Review: I won an auction for a graded card from Coach's Corner Sports Auctions. Paid for the card and received the card. To my surprise, the card in question is one that had a missing serial number. No where is the advertisement for the card nor on the receipt for payment did it mention 'missing serial number'. The whole premise for me bidding on the card was 2 reasons. One, it was graded (9.5 out of 10) and second this card is serialized up to 699 and this is verified in all Price Guides. So I was expecting any number from 1 to 699.
The fact that they chose not to mention the missing serial number lead me to believe that it was one that had one.
Their listing was as follows: Lot [redacted] Fleer Force (Inside the Game) Michael Jordan #11 RARE card BVG GRADED GEM MINT 9.5

Response:
Customer was aware this was minor oversight and we offered a full return when he returns it to us. Not a big deal, seems he is however, trying to make a big deal out of it.
Once received, he will be refunded in full
thank you

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
COMMENT: First , I did not know about the discrepancy until I received the card. This could have been avoided if the business would have been upfront about the issue with the card. To omit the issue with the card in the auction ad borders on fraud. The representation of the card was not forthcoming in my opinion. No card collector wants a serial card without a serial number. Generally everyone offers a refund if the customer is not happy but what separates a good business from a second rate one is honesty and integrity

Response:
Tell **. [redacted] to contact us again and specify what auction he is talking about please. We have 13 auctions a year and ALL consignors who sold items in those auctions have been paid according to our policies. Not sure what auction he is talking about but if he lets us know we can contact the bank to see if the check sent to him was cashed. If not, we can place a stop payment on it and reissue a new one to him.
Review: I purchased an item advertised to be a 1932 Yankees team baseball hand signed by 26 team members. I subsequently attempted to consign the ball to several reputable online sports memorabilia auction websites, but was consistently informed that the signatures on the ball were forged and unauthentic. I have letters of rejection verifying this. On October 6th, 2013, I returned the ball to Coach's Corner along with a letter stating my complaint and request for a refund. My request has been ignored.Desired Settlement: The total amount I am requesting is the original winning bid on the ball, $2329.00, plus the 15% auction fee of $349.35, plus $27.25 in shipping charges for a total of $2705.60.

Response:
We received a ball back from **. [redacted] with NOT knowledge of what auction he supposedly purchased this in. We have a 30 day return policy that ALL customers agree to when participating in the auction. We were waiting to hear from him as to when he says he won the item from us in auction, why it was returned(we received no of these supposed rejection COA's he speaks of), etc.
