Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Despite *** ***’s
conclusion that “all windows were in good working condition”, the majority of
windows leak because the sashes are too short for the frames; and two windows
have gaps so wide that the outdoors is visibleA representative from NYSERDA conducted an inspection
of the windows that included a smoke test, which clearly illustrated that the
majority of the windows leakPhotos of the leaking windows will be provided
once they have been processed.
In addition:
--I am still missing
several screens
--Two screens still have
holes
--The dining room window
frame has a hole in it
In conclusion, Mr
Mancini is not entitled to pronounce judgment that “Coakley’s has been more
than compensating”, as *** *** has not been privy to my interactions with
Coakley’s and is not qualified to comment on the numerous additional outstanding issues
Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. No one from Coakley's management team, who agreed to take over management of this project, has contacted me about this matter, other than to inform me via email that a representative from both Coakley's and the window manufacturer would be at my house last Thursday(No one contact me to confirm that appointment would be acceptable to me.)The contractor hired by *** *** was visibly upset when I pointed out the piles of broken glass, nails, and screws he'd left in my lawn, along with the debris he left in the cellarWhen I then pointed out that the screen door handles were incorrect, he clearly stated that he was "done with Coakley's" and that he was unwilling to resume work on the project(This contractor also used my tools without asking me)I expect that this disgruntled contractor, who laughed along with me when I voiced my "threat", communicated my statement to *** *** in an attempt to secure potential business ventures with Coakley's in the future, having just vocalized a number of disparaging remarks regarding Coakley's that he probably thought I would share with *** *** I contacted both the StLawrence County Police and Sheriff's Departments on September to ascertain if *** *** or the alleged "threat" victims had filed charges against meThey had notI regret that *** *** did not attempt to contact me regarding either my conversation with the contractor and/or this most serious "threat", which was misquoted, taken entirely out of context, and therefore, deliberately inflammatory.I have every right to be upset about the quality and progress of this project, yet I have exercised a considerable amount of self control and patience to dateIn closing, I have yet to receive a detailed scope of work, outlining the tasks that remain to be completed on this projectI, too, hope to finish this project as quickly as possible and with no further childish allegations that only serve to make a bad situation worse.

Response to Revdex.com complaint ID #[redacted] From: Bill C[redacted] (Owner of C[redacted] Carpet One Ace Hardware) We agree this business transaction has been a mess from the beginning with blame shared by C[redacted]’s, the window manufacturer and the customer.  We are a 113 year old family...

business that takes great pride in customer satisfaction. I wish I could say all jobs go perfectly- I can’t. We do respond to customer’s concerns quickly and that is what we did in this situation. Windows were ordered with the wrong grids. We immediately reordered and replaced the sashes. After nine windows were installed [redacted] expressed her displeasure. We halted installation at that time until the window manufacture representative could assess the situation. Our installer did leave tools on the site as well as trash and glass (which is strictly against our company policy.) Our Installer cut his finger on a chop saw and had to receive seven stitches. He has been off work for three weeks (on workers comp) The window representative has now been to the site again with another C[redacted] employee to perform a thorough window by window assessment as requested by [redacted]. Work will be completed as soon as she gives us the go ahead. We are anxious to finish and move on. We sincerely regret the difficulties on this job. Our aim is always customer satisfaction. While I understand [redacted]’s frustration her attitude hasn’t help matters. She actually threatened “to kill the installers and their families in their sleep” when talking to Diane (our scheduler) and to another outside worker out of frustration. Our window representative will be submitting a repost to you as well. Again, we feel badly anytime problems occur and work hard to make amends. Please don’t hesitate to call me directly with any questions on this matter. Sincerely, Bill C[redacted]
