Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/08) */ The customer's appliance package was delivered on September 11, The icemaker in question shows as being shipped from Coast Appliances' warehouse that day with the rest of the appliance packageThe appliances were delivered to the customer's address, the delivery drivers noted that there was no one to sign for the delivery that dayThe developer had provided a key for access to our delivery company for these appliances as no one would be on site that day The customer first contacted Coast regarding the missing icemaker in mid-October, a month after the delivery took placeBecause the icemaker was reported as missing a month after delivery, Coast advised the customer that they would not get a replacement icemaker at no cost, and would have to purchase a new icemaker Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2016/01/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) As per coast Appliance ice-maker was shipped However we have not taken possession for home until Sept this is the first time we have bought refrigerator with ice maker and we have paid to builder to install a water linewhen we did not figure it out about ice-maker what it will be look like then I have called B [redacted] at Coast Appliance and giving him all the description and figure it out that I was not installed and missinghe said that he will speak to [redacted] the builder to figure it out what happened? after few days we got respond that it is missing and they do not know and they have to order a new one and as soon they get it they will book a schedule and installed itI have never been told that I have to pay for it and why I have to pay for it that first time I never got it and it is between coast appliance and [redacted] so it has been now three monthsI got different stories from B [redacted] that we have ordered it and should get in two weeks it was before holidaysthen I call him around last week before Christmas and he told me that he will get an answer in a day and give me a callit has been all the times that I have given him my cell phone# but never got call backmy understanding is they have all my info from the first time when I have purchased all appliances then how come I have to give my contact info all the time and never get a update callI have no idea why we have to suffer for things that has been paid in full [redacted]

customer's address, the delivery drivers noted that there was no one to sign for the delivery that day. The developer had provided a key for access to our delivery company for these appliances as no one would be on site that day.
