Review: This company called my phone, which I have no idea how they got the number, they left a rude message meant for my husband. He called them as soon as I told him and they denied him access to view any of the debt they say he owes. One person even told him to Shut up because she did not have to show him anything. She said she was just going to sue him which was her original intention. They never attempted make contact to try to resolve said debt just left a message saying they were going to sue. We were told the debt was $18,000 but if he paid $800 that day and wrote 8 $1,000 postdated checks they would forgive $10,000 and only charge the original $8,000. Four days later another person said he originally owed $7,600. The lady whom says she owns this company also told us that she did not have to send my husband anything saying they were requesting judgement or a summons to appear in court. Her staff and she are very unprofessional and do not follow the laws of the FTC. We do not know where this alleged debt came from and would like verification yet we are being denied it.Desired Settlement: We would like to be mailed all information they have regarding the debt they say he/we owe. Whom the original debtor was and where they purchased it from. We tried to figure it out on our own but the Bank they say it originated told us they wrote off the debt. At once point another company bought it that closed its doors however, they are not aware of anyone else purchasing this debt. It feels like something is not right in this situation.
