I have stated thwe information as I knowit. It is the true statement of what transpired. If ms*** does not want to accept the truth I can't change that

On January 28, *** *** came into my store and saw the display model I have burning by the front doorShe wanted that stoveI told her I would sell her the display model with a discountI offered her a $dollar discount for the display model and the trade in of her used stove for the
price of $1,dollarsOn February 7th *** made a payment of $On March 9th she made a payment of $at which time she informed me that she would come into the store on Sunday while the store was closed and nobody was here using her boyfriends'(an employee of Coast Hearth and Home) key for access to pick up the stove. I told her noI needed to order a replacement stove before I could remove that oneThe stove is a display model that is an important part of my stove displaysIt is a burning display with a chimney pipe through the roof of the buildingWe also don't want to come in Monday morning with a stove pipe hanging in our show room and no stoveIn addition she still had not made here final paymentShe then informed me that she wanted a new stove not the display model as originally agreedHer statement that we would order a stove after her first payment is incorrect because the origianl agreement was for the display model which was here the entire timeOn April 14th *** left a phone message saying she wanted a check for $dollars( the amount of her down payments) and she would pick it up tomorrowI returned her call immediatley at which time she informed that she had talked to a lawyer friend that told her she should get the stove in ten days or she would file a lawsuitOn April 15th I wrote a check for $dollarsOn April 22nd I received a certified letter stating that she wanted her stove in days or she would file a lawsuitAlso enclosed was a check for $received on April 22nd which is the final payment for the stoveThe last conversation with *** today was mail her the check for $and return her check for $Today I mailed her the two checks and that is what she wants at this time

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The Statements made were in correct.  At no time did we say that we would come in during Non-business hours and get the stove with my boyfriends key.  My boyfriend who was an employee with the company kept asking when [redacted] was going to order my stove and Mr. [redacted] never gave him nor I a response.  Two days later my boyfriend informed me that when we were there making the second payment (which I could of made the final payment), Mr. [redacted] sold the stove that was to be mine to someone else.  He then stated that he would order me a new stove because he has sold my stove.I have received the run around from this company and Mr. [redacted] from the git go.  He NEVER at any time gave me a phone call telling me he had sold my stove I had originally bought.  I found it out only later on from his employee.  If he sold my stove, what am I supposed to assume that I would be getting a new stove or why would he have sold mine in the first place.  After many weeks of frustration, I finally gave Mr. [redacted] a call at home and asked him about what he was going to do about my stove.  He stated he would have to talk to Renee, his daughter who is supposedly now running the company.  Then he proceeded to inform me that since [redacted] (my boyfriend) was not an employee, (which he is laid off), that I would not be receiving any kind of discount.  I then stated to just return my money I had already paid.I have been a legal secretary for 18 plus years and know many attorneys.  I called one of my attorney friends and explained the situation and he stated that I had a binding contract and that Coast Heart and Home would have to honor that agreement.  I then called back and informed Mr. [redacted] he had to honor his contract with me and he had ten days to get me my stove or I would and could file a lawsuit for breach of contract.  I then later wrote a letter to that fact. This company does not honor its contracts nor does it treat customers very well.  I am just one of many who have had issues with this company.  I later thought about it, and I decided I did not want this company to get one penny of my money when I can go to a reputable company and get one.  I later called [redacted] at Coast Hearth and Home and told her to return both my checks and I wanted nothing else to do with this company.Sincerely[redacted] [redacted]Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:We both know the real truth.  Sincerely,[redacted]
