Review: The manager argued with me over a refund. We needed to check out of this disgusting motel because the police advised us to leave ASAP.. The manager argued that it was clean and safe, but every night we were there, so were the police due to the owners allowing all visitors to be in harms way. I was quoted 149.00 per night. When asked for a refund, the so called manager only gave me 75.00. The following day I called asking for the remainder of my refund, and the owner refunded $30.92, which is a total of $105.92. I am looking for the full amount due me based on $149.00, plus whatever their tax is in CA. I also would like to be compensated for the inconvenience of finding another place to stay. It's also false advertisement when they claim they offer queen beds, and it's a full. Also, no toiletries, and one towel per guest. This establishment should be shut down due to health and safety violations. I believe I am entitled to a full refund of $332.27.Desired Settlement: Refund of $226.35 which is the balance remaining.

Review: On 5/23/15 I gave a Motel Clerk who was a male $300.00 cash to stay in a Motel Room which I was told was for a One night stay of $161.62 and a Deposit of $138.38, a total of $300.00 and that the deposit would be returned to me when I checked out of the motel room at check out time on 5/24/15. I did not receive my deposit back. The male clerk said that I gave him $200.00 which is not true. He only gave me $38.38 back. And I know that I gave him $300.00. He was not willing to show me his accounting ledger/records in any capacity what so ever. The male clerk was not willing to show me their business license which was on a top shelf that the public could not see or read. He would not give me his first or last name. He had a female in the office with him and she was not willing to cooperate and give me her name or access to their business license either. They both were very unprofessional, rude, verbally aggressive. I asked them for a receipt of the breakdown of the monies that I paid out and what they charged me for the one night stay and the deposit that they requested. He was not willing to do this. He was loud and rude and very verbally attacking. He only was willing to give me a receipt of how much he charged me for a one night stay. Please see attached. Also, the motel room number 3 was not electrically sound what so ever. Everything was hooked up with extension cords. All of the linen and bedspreads in this room had burn holes all over them. I was in a position where I had to stay there because of my truck breaking down I did not have too many choices on the Memorial Weekend. Every hotel in the area was booked up. I got ripped off and I told them that I would be filing a complaint. Unprofessional, dishonest, unsanitary and hazardous. I want a reimbursement and this Motel really needs to be checked out by the Health and Fire Safety Dept.

Review: It is 3:05 AM and I CANNOT sleep because I have killed 18 roaches so far. This room is disgusting and not worth the $87.50 I paid.Desired Settlement: I think the business had a responsibility to get rid of all the roaches. Fumigate. Remodel. Update.

Coast Inn truly apologizes about the roaches in unit #6 and the problem has been taken care of.[redacted] should have told us earlier we would have changed her unit or given her refund back.At this time Coast Inn is going thru a remodel.We will be more than happy to refund $50 to [redacted].
