Review: Coast to coast has been calling my house approximately once a week, in reference to a trash bill. They claim to be collecting for Republic Services.Desired Settlement: Stop calling my house and remove your name from my republic services account. Your recording claims that I am in past due status. I just paid off my bill YESTERDAY, and your robo-call called my house this evening. I have never ever owned a debt from coast to coast and do not know how you obtained my information from republic services, when my account is in good standing. If this is not removed from my account, I seek further action and file a complaint with the Federal trade commission for fraudulent billing practices. I have a receipt for the PAST DUE AMOUNT, that your recording claims I owe. I have yet to receive a word back from republic services stating that you actually own my account, when you do not. You are in serious violation of the FDCA by doing so. Fix this and provide the proper proof that you have removed my account from your company's name and from republic services. I need NOT to show you a receipt, as you don't own my account. This account is none of your business!!!

This is the contact number that phones my house when it's listed on my caller Id box..I also have the listing as thousand oaks, california. When I called it back it said it was coast to coast. I also phone republic waste services, to verify that this was a legitimate third party collection agency. They stated it was them, and they work for republic. I had paid my bill on monday, and informed them if they were a third party collection agency, that since my account is in good standing they didn't have the right to keep contacting me with thier robo-caller. The lady from republic stated they had the right to keep contacting me till my bill was paid up. That's not what the law references in regards to third party collection agencies. I have paid my account in partial full, with a $50 balance left outstanding. I gave them a promise to pay, next week which is pay-day for us. We only get paid twice a month. I don't see how they are allowed to continue to contact, if this is a third party collection agency? they phone almost every day, with the same automatic robo-call message. I called back got a voice mail and no person is actually able to get a hold of through that company. Thanks! [redacted]
