[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]As I stated before the dealer Technician broke the air freshener which caused the oil in the freshener to leak My wife was not using the Command Control to operate radio station, she uses the steering control to change the radio station; therefore, she didn't need to press any radio button (#3) to know the button is stuck By the time we found out the button is stuck, it's too late (according to the dealer) I believe the dealer should step up and responsible for their staffs actions instead of blaming us I'll not rest, even if we go to court for this

Customers car was towed in June 5th and towed out June 7th. We had to push the vehicle into our shop and pushed it out. We installed a drivers air bag as part of the national recall for *** *** ***. Mercedes Benz paid us minutes of labor to remove and replace the airbag as
it is a very simple operation. Since the car would not start we do not know if the radio worked or not. We gave the customer an estimate to get his car running he declined and had it towed out. 1,miles and a little over weeks later customer comes back and says we did something to his radio. We *** it for free and there is an internal issue with the radio assembly. the vehicle is a with 135,miles. if it was working previously possibly what ever shop did the repair to make it run caused the issue or possibly just due to age, either way we have done hundreds of *** *** *** recalls and it does not affect the radio assembly

I am sorry I replied to this but it was from South Florida Revdex.com case.I called Ms*** and apologized and we scheduled her vehicle in.We provided a Mercedes Benz loaner free of charge.We waived diagnostic fees to determine what the issues were.We provided an estimate of the needed repairs, which our advisor Brigit will call Ms*** and review in detail any questions or concerns she has

This client’s vehicle came in to our dealership 4-months ago and the glove box was replacedClient returned recently and stated that his Command unit was inoperativeThe technician inspected the Command and noted that the buttons were all stuck, due to the intrusion of a foreign liquid, likely
the scented oil air freshenerThis is not a warrantable event and the client was informed of the circumstances
If the client wishes to take further, we suggest contacting Mercedes-Benz directly and seeking assistance, but the dealer cannot authorize the replacement of the unit as it stands

The client was given an estimate to replace all of the fuel injectors,and glow plug module along with the crankshaft sensor. This is the recommendation and the diagnosis for the check engine light concern. The client is wanting to replace specific injector instead of all of them and that is not an...

option for them. All of the fuel injectors must be removed to replace one of them and usually none of them will survive this process on a diesel engine due to carbon build up.
Replacement if all of the injectors, glow plugs and glow plug control module is the only way for that problem…there are no short cuts.
 
The battery light is coming on due to faulty battery control module and relay along with the need for main battery and aux battery replacement due to the condition of the batteries. Again there is no in between on this it needs them all. The client was given the estimate to replace these components along with some other recommendations.
 
I am attaching the estimate that he was given . it has part numbers and all on it.

  I did not indicate that Autonation created the issues. However the issue is Autonation sold me a car where they did not provide the issues with the vehicle so I was deceived upon purchase. These are not issues that occurred after I had the vehicle, there were issues that were already there but the company failed to disclose. I declined all repairs because I did not receive a list that gave me costs for each part. For example they said the cost to replace the brakes was $773.00 but how much are the brake pads, does this include the brake rotors, sensors, calipers as well? The dealership did not tell me. Also they did not provide the labor costs, nor the actual brand of brakes that they were using. Fact of the matter is quality, new brakes can be purchased for under $100, so I would like to know what exactly am I paying for. The dealership is not providing that info, which I need before I can approve the repairs.
