Hi everyone. I'm a little late to getting around to doing this, but better late than never, right? Well, last month, I needed to ship a jeep from Northern California to upper Wisconsin. I have never shipped anything bigger than a box of books, so I was definitely out of my league. First thing, I tried the internet. OMG! I put in my name and info, and I was inundated with phone calls night and day. I must have received 30 emails a day from different companies. They called at 6am, they called during work, they called when I was sleeping...it was just horrible, annoying, and way too expensive. I was ready to forget the whole thing....until I hooked up with [redacted] from Coastal Auto Shipping. I can't really remember how we found each other, but doing business with him was the best, cost efficient, and EASIEST decision I've ever made. He was extremely patient with me, and very kind. Answered all my questions, and was very quick in returning my calls/emails. We actually did a lot of our business by texting, as I am super busy with work, and just don't have time to be on the phone. Also, a lot of conversations/texts happened late at night on his personal cell phone. That's how unbelievably convenient it all was.
Let me run it down for you: After we decided to do business, [redacted] sent me a contract. I filled it out, sent back with a deposit (credit card) the next day, and the car was scheduled for pick up on my day off. The driver, [redacted] was the nicest guy, and picked up my car on a friday at approx. 2:30. I was told it would be about a week, but I planned on more like two. Imagine my surprise, when the car arrived at it's destination Monday evening around 8:30 pm. Now that's fast! The recipient paid the balance to the driver, an he went on his merry way. [redacted] was in touch with the recipient of the car, and even called to talk to me after it was delivered to make sure everything worked out well. The jeep went 2100 miles with no mishaps, dents, dings, or anything else. I couldn't have mailed a letter in the same time it took to transport it to Wisconsin. My overall experience?
