My husband just recently had Coastal Carolina Air Conditioning come and replace our oil furnace. Mr. [redacted] came to our house and gave us a very good estimate. The job was done in a timely fashion, the men did and excellent job installing it and I can't say enough about them, hard working and very polite. Bottom line, if you need a furnace or and air conditioning system in the City of New Bern, NC. call Coastal Carolina Air Conditioning to get a fair price and and excellent job. [redacted]

They were called out by my homeowners warranty company, it was a very hot week with a lot of repairs on their schedule. They were very responsive, initial problem required a call-back but was resolved quickly.

will not return phone calls in a timely manner. Does not keep appointments. does not stand behind work.this company replaced the compressor on our heat pump/air conditioning unit this winter. We had to call back two times due to the heating unit not working properly after this replacement. Appointments were not kept and calls were not returned. had to get aggressive in order to get service. Now the A/c unit is not working properly and the owner has scheduled two separate appts when no one showed up. This is poor workmanship and very poor customer service. We have taken off work to be home and no one shows up. It took three days to even get a return call and now no follow-up on previous work. We think the problem is related to the replaced compressor but no one has come to check it out and properly diagnose the problem. We do not feel we should have to hire a different company and pay for a service that has already been paid for. We have tried to be loyal to this company as we were one of the first customers when the business began.We are very dissatisfied. This company is absolutely awful. Lied to us about our unit being out of freon..his exact words were "your unit is bone dry" in the middle of July charged us $300 for it to stop working 1 week later. Called them explained what happen and the guy said it obviously had a leak and they were just doing a "cheap quick fix" I never asked for a "cheap quick fix" to have to turn around a week later and pay several hundred more. The guy was very rude and hung up on us twice because he said they didn't want to be bothered! Also the guy was basically saying he knowingly released freon into the environment saying that it was obvious the system had a leak!! Totally illegal! Explained I will pay for labor and parts but did not feel as if I should have to pay the fee to come back to the house or the price for new freon. He responded with we don't want to come back to your house anyway! Well that's okay [redacted]! Thats your name and business you are hurting now. Ive informed every person I know and it turns out everybody else in the community has the same complaints. Called [redacted] heating and air. Exceptional customer service and the best part the guy from CCAC lied about everything. The whole time it was just a faulty switch that the city had on our unit. CCAC is nothing more than a bunch of money scamming liars.
