I contacted Coastal Community Insurance Agency- agent Janice *** back at the being November - I contacted agent looking for insurance for a company I wish to start - after only a couple of contacts (one with her being out of town) I still have not gotten a quote for any of the 3 types of insurance I am seeking - with Janice requesting quotes she has my business locked out of getting another local agent.

Other (requires explanation) I am sick of the current company - I wish them to redraw their request with their carriers and allow me to find a local company that values my business
I spoke with Mr. regarding insurance quotes. Due to the unique nature of his business I advised him I had not been able to find markets to provide the coverage he requested. To my knowledge there are no markets blocked. The client is always in full control of the markets. If I had a market blocked trying to obtain a quote and the client wanted another agent to obtain the quote, the client would simply sign a form for the other agent allowing him/her access to the quote. This is standard industry practice.
Unfortunately there are times when we can't provide everything a client needs, however, we have never prevented a client from obtaining quotes from other sources. I'm not sure why Mr. is under the impression that we have blocked the markets preventing him from obtaining other quotes but he can rest assured he's in total control of his insurance needs. We have not and will not do anything to prevent him from obtaining quotes.
