Review: My wife and I purchased a Delany Love Sofa for approximately $900.00 dollars 2 years ago and at the time of purchase we were guaranteed a 10 year warranty against defects. About 4 months ago we noticed that there was a design flaw where the builder used a screw that was too long (June 2013) to connect the center cross beam to the frame. This causes the screw to penetrate through the lining of the sofa base and into the cushions when under load. This not only causes a tear in the base fabric but it also permanently damages the microfiber seat cushion covers. I've called 4 times, spoken to two clerks, and have left various voicemails asking Coastal Furniture to make good on their warranty. One time a woman called me back saying that they passed my information along to the manufacturer and I would be hearing from them shortly. 3 weeks passed and I never heard from the manufacturer so I began to call the store again asking for follow up and the manufacturers info to which I just get passed around to or lied to with statements like "they're working on it". This company has reneged on it's warranty to me the customer.Desired Settlement: I would like the defect to be addressed (long penetrating screw) and from the damaged fabric covers to be replaced.

Dear Revdex.com of San Diego:

In respond to your email regards to the complaint you received concerning Coastal furniture,We did contact the customer via email on August First 2013 asking the customer to provide us with his current address so we can make an appointment with him and the manufacture!

I did not receive a respond from the customer!(We do have a copy of the last email we sent him on file).

I did go ahead and sent him another email today again and asking him for his address so we can make an appointment and send the manufacture to inspect the problem and take care of it!
