I had an appointment on 11/11/and was told by the receptionist that I have to pay the co-pay BEFORE I see the Dr? when I said I haven't seen the Dryet the receptionist said "that is our policy" ? Really, you charge your patients BEFORE you provide care...What a jokeThat's like paying the auto mechanic or the dentist BEFORE they repair you car or teethWho would do that ? I have found an orthopedist on Manatee avethat does NOT charge the patient BEFORE providing care....as it should beWhat a joke of a practice coastal isI posted this same review on their website and shockingly it's no where to be found?.READ THE REVIEWSon yelp etc The reviews on Coastals website are all glowing reviews, don't believe it

I had an appointment for sciatica pain in april of I have been to Coastal several times over the yearsThey have good doctors and are in my United HealthCare networkI pay a $co-payIn april, I was told while entering to see the doctor that a urine test was neededI was NOT told, however, that not only would it be sent to a lab not in UHC network, but it would also cost $...I kid you notno warning, and no option given , the assistant made it sound required by Coastalso this is my warning to the unsuspectingapparently medicare gets gouged with this all the timeit is rude, and I was blindsidednow the avutox lab is asking for their money, and I am stuckit's not right
