they were hired to do a simple job that was not done. asked for cash, $2,500.00.
I asked for money back since the job was not completed and now he is ignoring my calls.

I hired coastal restoration and construction LLC. To redo my basement and attic. The job was signed 1/7/2019 and was suppose to be completed by 1/31/2019. I made the mistake of not researching this company and Adam Todd Nevius. He has numerous complaints and criminal records of fraud. I paid him the initial deposit of $8000 and then $6000 after the electrical work was completed. I also gave him an additional $2200 because I wanted to upgrade the bathroom and bedroom in the basement. Total payout was $16,200 dollars. After the electrical work was done he sent 1 employee to do work in the attic and never returned. He does not reply to text or calls he tells me he’s coming and never comes. Numerous times. These are the same things he’s done to other people that have complained about his company. I asked for a refund minus the work he did which is not much. He has not given me anything does not call or return my calls. I am filing this complaint in hopes to get a resolution and to help others not to fall victim of this guy and his company.

I ***) signed up the contract with CRC Of NJ, LLC on 8/7/2018 to demolish the home at the *** Adam the owner of the company promised me that he will take care of the job in timely manner.
this is covered in the contract:

Obtain Demolition Permit
Cut and Cap water line to house
Pump Septic tank and remove
Knock house down and sheds
Fill hole with fill dirt
Grade area level
Remove trees around house and a few smaller tress where new house is going
Driveway and any bricks from patio will be removed
All debris will be removed from site and site left clean

the very first thing which Adam was suppose to work on was getting the Tree permit and Cut and Cap water line to house. these two things are necessary to obtain the demo permit for the home along with the other things(which I already took care of). during the last 2 months, Adam keep telling me that he already got the tree permit and had his plumber ready to cut and cap. he told me 6 to 7 times that his plumber is not ready for some or the other reason. Now after 2 moths he fired his Plumber and got the new plumber. I wasted all the time. when I talked to the township zoning and engineering department, I came to know. Adam did NOTHING in last 2 months for this project.
no Tree permit applied, no plumbing inspection nothing. I had to fire him.

this was the contract for $11K, where I paid Adam $3k (via ***)as an initial deposit. now form last 1 week Adam is saying that he will return me this money and keep prolonging it with some or the other excuse.

This is so much time consuming and aggravating. more over he doesn't response to calls or text. whenever he responds it is all lie.

I had contracted Adam todd N to do the Pool demo job on Aug 6, 2017, paid initial $1000 advance.
Work included pulling township permit, removing electrical connection, demolish pool, clear township inspection and final fill the hole with dirt
He finished 1/2 the job after paying additional $3000 fund, which I should have not since contract was to pay all reaming amount after job is done.
From Oct till today I had contacted him many time almost every day via text and pone call
He does reply with false promises of finishing the job, till today its not been finished.

1. He finished raising permit
2. He demolished pool without picking up the permit, which finally he did in Jan 2018
3. Since Oct 2017, I am waiting for him to come and remove electrical connection and clean up the back yard with all pool debris so I can get inspection done.
I got tired of his tactics and got electrical work done by some one else.
Called township for inspection, and it was rejected by building department.
Now I have to get the work done by some other contractor.
