Coastal Softub

Review: We purchased our softub in 2012 directly from the dealer in Ventura CA. The motor was making odd noises so my husband brought it to the dealer for him to take a look at it on 5/11/15. My husband called less than two weeks later to check on the progress and the owner said he had not looked at it yet. He called my husband back and told him that he looked at it and he would not have to order parts. He had all the necessary parts to fix the motor in shop and it was still under warranty but we would have to pay the $250.00 deductible. My husband has called every week after that to check on the progress. He speaks to a receptionist that says she will give the message to the owner but the owner has not called back but one time to let us know that he had to let go of the other repair person and he now has to deal with the repairs on his own. We have been without our softub for 5 weeks. We have also contacted the corporate office to see if they could look into the issue but no one from the claims department has returned our phone call. Before we brought the motor in we used our softub almost every night due to my Fibromyalgia and my husbands medical issues as a result of an bike accident.Desired Settlement: We would like to have our Softub repaired and have the $250.00 deductible waived due to the exorbitant amount of time we have been without our tub.

Response:

The part we performed service on was ready for pick-up by the customer but miss labeled. And therefore thought that Mr. G[redacted] unit was not complete. Once I discovered that the service was finished and ready to go. I called Glen G[redacted] and he came today and picked up the hydro pack and was not charged for any service or parts. All costs were waived. Mr G[redacted] said he would ask his wife to rescind the complaint. An state that the matter has been resolved to their satisfaction and ask the file be closed.
