The Structural Pest Control Board sent us a letter dated 2/23/stating that the agreement between both parties has been resolved, and that the case has been closed

The access panel to enter the attic was broken at the time of our inspection This is often the case, but the existing owner will strategically place it together so that only a fracture can be seen if you are looking for it I explained this to the new owner, but had trouble convincing him of such We spent an entire day repairing the French Doors They turned out so well, that upon examination, the new owners could not tell that something was wrong with them After a few conversations, I came to the understanding that I could not make them happy, so I gave them a refund of all wood work I have been in business since 1989, and have thousands of Real Estate Agents as my customers, as well as private homeowners It is Coastline Termite's goal to take care of all of our customers to their satisfactionI'm sorry that the **'s were not satisfied, we never want our customers to feel unsatisfied, no matter what the circumstances

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have read the response from [redacted] of Coastline termiteIt is full of falsehoodsOnly when and if if he pays the agreed upon $1,I will consider the case closedIt has been a month since he agreed to send the money through the structural pest control board and he has not yet complied Regards, [redacted]

This is in response to complaint ID #[redacted] for [redacted].  The case has been ongoing with the Structural Pest Control Board, has reached its end at this time. We, Coastline Termite, did work at [redacted]'s residence, and were paid for it.  She wasn't happy with the meter box doors...

that were not part of the original report, as they were not damaged by termite or water.I sent a representative from my company there to replace them.  Because they did not appear to be damaged, he assumed that vents were needed for them, since they had yet to be installed.  She yelled at himand told him to get the "F" off of her property.  I called her to discuss this, and met her out at her home.  She showed me a spot of dry-rot on a rafter tail about the size of a quarter, and damage to a fascia boardthat we did not replace, that was found by another company.  When she hired us, she hired us to inspect only the exterior where the HOA had marked, because the HOA was going to paint;  that is exactly what we did.  There had been some time between me meeting with her and when they were to paint.  She called us the day before they to paint, and said that we must get there that day or she will hire the other company.I let her know that we would not be able to make it as we were booked out for quite some time.  She hired the other company to work beyond the scope of ours, after which time she demanded me to refund her amount of our job, as well as the amount of the other company; at which time I let her know that I would not do that, but I would look it over and let her know.  The attempts to contact were also difficult on my side. She even apologized for taking so long to get back to me at one point.  She then attempted to get another $990.33 for damage she said was created by my company.  She sent me the estimate done by 24 HourRestoration on 12/22/16.  Next to the total it states that it is for ESTIMATING PURPOSES ONLY.  We went back and forth as to why she didn't deserve more than what was ethically correct.  She then sent me anemail on 3/26/17 that stated that the cost to fix the damage was $250.00...no where near the $990.33 that she had asked for over and over.  On 5/3/17, I sent her a refund check for the amount of $1,100.00 along withan explanation as to what it was for that read... $200 for meter box doors, $660 for wood that they replaced (though I still dispute it), and $250 for damage caused by us.  To this day, that check has not been cashed, though I did not know it until the Structural Pest Control Board sent me a letter of her dispute.  After working with the SPCB on this, they asked me if I was willing to still send her the $1,110.00 refund.  I said that I would, so they said that they would get back to me.  They called me back stating that she wanted $1,500.00.  So here we are, and I agreed to send the refund check to them for her to just put this to rest.  I do havedocumentation showing her demands, and wrongful attempt to get money she never spent. Please call me with any questions.Thank You,[redacted]Coastline Termite714.522.3533

I have read the response from [redacted] of Coastline termite. It is full of falsehoods. Only  when and if if he pays the agreed upon $1,500 I will consider the case closed. It has been a month since he agreed to send the money through the structural pest control board and he has not yet complied.
