requested a refund, it was proven that they were still using the software. This occurred on three different iterations when the customer said the software had been uninstalled. ** Our polices deem this to be software piracy if the customer repeatedly uses the software after claiming to stop.
Before the refund request, the customer asked for new features that were not advertised and never supported. ** We did offer extended support. This work included getting his thermal printer to work and have emails from them saying it was working. For the Thermal Printer support, we initially advised them that all they had to do is provide the "stock type" from FedEx and it was simple to configure, but then we finally handled ourselves since they did not seem to ever engage FedEx as they were advised.
Furthermore, [redacted] was unprofessional contacting my wife directly on facebook and threatening her. He aslo left threatening and demeaning emails, voicemails, and online reviews. For this reason, we also have grounds to file a complaint against his business.
And to re-iterate due to the software piracy policy we feel that the software is being re-written and thususing our itellectual property which they need to pay for. We spent years developing the software and several hours assisting this customer. The $279 software charge is valid since the software was being used after it claimed to be un-installed, on 3 different iterations.

We are not using this company's software as it does not work as advertised. We will gladly share testimonies from our programmers, company board members, and other team members who work with our shipping software daily. Neither we, Fed Ex, our programmer, nor the developer himself managed to get the product to work. The professional installation we paid for never happened. Through the month of trying to get the software to work, we left voicemails, emails, posts, etc. to try to get the owner to solve the issues. At a certain point, we ran out of patience, gave up and had to move on and use another company's software product. Our experience showed Cobb Consulting to be unresponsive, unwilling, and unable to fix the basic advertised functions that weren't working. Not sure how trying to get a business to honor their agreement is harassment or threatening. All our correspondence has been polite, firm, and focused on the task at hand. We are glad to share our experience via all our communications with this company. Also, we are not sure of the logic behind our "stealing his software" and then attempting to get our 100% satisfaction guarantee honored through various legal channels. Be warned -- this company and its owner should be avoided at all costs - not worth the time or energy to go down this rabbit hole. If Cobb Consulting only spent half as much time supporting the product and helping its customers as they do defending attempts to honor a refund, there never would have been a complaint filed with the Revdex.com in the first place.
