Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not satisfied with this resolution because their response is completely untrue all around! They never warned me in the beginning This is a dry cleaner/laundererThey should know how to look at tags and take full responsibility for cleaning the items properlyThat is why you put trust in your cleaner Laundering this shirt would not have made the color completely wash outThe owner tried to tell me rain would do the same thingHe came up with every excuse in the book to avoid doing the right thingAt that point, I would have accepted dry cleaning credit at the same price of the shirtNow I want to go buy a new one to replace the one they ruinedOr I will be going to small claims courtThe dry cleaning agents strip the color out of the shirtThat is why the tag says do not dry cleanIn years of wearing Tommy Bahama has my fiance ever had a problem like thisAnd in ten years with him, I have never had a problem at a dry cleaner ruining one of his shirtsI was NOT told upon picking up the shirt either that it was not only faded, but completely stripped of all colorI didn't notice until about a week later when I was getting our outfits coordinated and ready for our engagement pictures that it was in fact ruined and we had to go buy a new one the same exact color They did not offer to redye it and that is not something I am interested inI can do that myself! The dragging on for months after and telling me to lie to Tommy Bahama and tell them I ruined it by washing it and if I could exchange itHe even gave me a non dry cleaning hanger and said there you go, now it will look like you brought it from home with that hanger That is not what a business should doI went in circles and tried numerous times to give them the opportunity to make it rightI talked to the owner personally and that is who gave me all of these excuses and not taking responsibility for itHe literally stood there and argued with me to the point where I just had to walk away I asked him if there was anything he was going to do to make this right and he looked right at me and said no! It is in fact the only dry cleaner in town and maybe that is why he thinks he can treat not only me, but other people I know that have had the same issue that we have no choice? I would rather drive far and pay double the price and get taken care of! Example photos as shown, you can see the same coral stitching in the shirt that is on topThe bottom shirt is the replacementThis shirt was brand new with the tags on that they ruinedNever been worn or washed Regards, [redacted]

The customer brought in a Tommy Bahama shirtTommy Bahama is known to use pigmented dye in particular clothing lines of their shirts, which will fadeThe label on the Tommy Bahama shirts also read in bold typing, "This shirt is made with pigmented dye, and is meant to fade." Unfortunately this
particular shirt the customer brought in is labeled as mentioned aboveWhen the customer came back in to pick up the shirt, I pointed it out to her the shirt faded and showed her the label on the shirtI suggested to the customer if she was dissatisfied with the Tommy Bahama shirt, to take it back to the store in which she had purchased it from, and inform them she was unaware the shirt would fade due to pigmented dye. I would be more then happy to re dye the shirt for the customer, and the dye we use is not a pigmented dyeThis will dye will not fade when used in the dry cleaning machine

I will offer to send the shirt out to the [redacted]) to determine how the dis colorization and the rip was caused. [redacted] will inspect the garmet and make the determination on the root cause. Once [redacted] finds the root cause of the dis colorization and rip they will send the garmet back along with a comprehensive report explaining the root cause. I will pay for [redacted] to conduct this service, and if [redacted] comes back and says my company is at fault I will offer a free replacement of the garmet. However, if in the report [redacted] determines the root cause of the dis colorization is due to body lotions, sweat, etc.... And that the rip is due to normal wear and tear I will not take responsibility for the replacement of this garmet.

To avoid further complaints we will reimburse the customer  $130.00 for this shirt, however in the future the customer needs to be advised of the product label set forth by the manufacturer.

This place has the worst customer service. When you walk in no one says hi, or smiless. They treat you as if they are cleaning your clothes for free. Same thing after they ring you up and get your money no Thank You. So I went on line in 10/15 and expressed my concerns about the service I received. I was contacted by Matt who apologized and offered me a credit, to give them another try. Went back in to find no credit and still the service was very unprofessional and in warming. So I sent another complaint 12/15 to let the company know service is horrible. So I decided to take my business elsewhere. I forgot to tell my husband we were switching cleaners because I drop the clothes off usually. So he went in to Cobblestone on 2/16 and gave my number to drop the clothes off. The girl behind the counter with all the tattoos said this number is blocked from service. So basically they tried to block me when I had already decided to spend my money elsewhere. Because they are rude and unprofessional. They have the worst customer service and staff that I have ever encountered.
