Attn:   Revdex.comThe Dispute Resolution Team,   On 3/30/17 Mrs. [redacted] brought in her vehicle that had been involved in an accident on that same day. When I spoke to her that day she said she was going to have her insurance paid for the damages on her vehicle. She was going to file a...

claim and call me back with the claim number which she did. As a courtesy we gave her a rental car for 3 days until her insurance picked up the rental bill. She gave us a copy of her insurance car so we could give it to the rental company. At no point she stated that she had liability only. Otherwise we will have not given her a rental car if we knew that she did not have coverage. I am attaching you a copy of the rental bill and the check stub to prove you that we did pay for those 3 days and a copy of the work order authorizing us  the disassembly of her damaged vehicle for the insurance to property determined the damages, which she signed it. She called us back on 3/30/17 at 4:58 pm to give us the claim number. On 4/3/17 we called the  insurance company and find out - claim was denied because she had liability only. (Call Customer, she did not answered)On 4/4/17 Mrs. [redacted] came in and returned the rental car and requested an estimate because she found out that her insurance will not cover the damages on her vehicle and she liked to know if she wanted to fix it or scrap it, she said. We  provided her with the estimate as she requested. She said it was too much to fix it and she said she'll rather move it. We told her it was her decision whatever she wanted to do. We gave her the charges to move her vehicle out, and she said it was too much. We told her we talked to the owner and gave her a discount, she only had to pay $600.00 and she could take her vehicle. She ask what other option she had and we told her she could surrender the title if she wanted for charges. At no point to force her to give us the title, it was an option for her. If we had known from the beginning she had liability only:1- We would have not given her a rental car for 3 days (because we had to pay for it)2- We would have given her an estimate right there so she could decide what to do with the damaged vehicle, leave it for us to fix it or take it somewhere else.3- We would have not asked her for a claim # if she had liability only.  Now, she is saying the she told us from the beginning that she had liability only, but it is not true. If she knew or not, I don't know but she never mention that to me. I am the person that signed her up and talked to her on that day and I can tell you that at any moment she said she had liability only. It is not our responsibility to set up a claim it is the customer job to file a claim to find out what coverage they have in their policies. We trust her word when she brought her vehicle when she will give us the claim information later. If you should have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 713-432-9688 Sincerely,  Rosie [redacted]713-432-9688
