Cobra Van Lines made my moving experience so stress free and was done within the time frame promisedI had used another company before and let me tell you, Cobra Van Lines beat them by miles!!!! Every time I had a question or concern, they were always there to answer my questions and they never left me hanging or with doubtsYou will never find a moving company with such care and compassion for their customers!! I would highly recommend this company to everyone living within the USA! From start to finish they were highly professional, packed my belongings with care, unloaded everything where I wanted, and they did not leave a mess like other companiesThey are my go to company for all of my moving needs and I recommend them to everyone I know

I recently moved from Neshkoro, WI back to Bridport, VT and decided at years of age that I would hire a company to pack and transport my belongingsIn March, after looking online for moving companies, I was contacted by United RelocateThey provided me a quote based on our initial conversation, scheduled a move date and took a deposit in the amount of $($based on initial quote and an additional $after a second revised quote.) Based on those quotes I was told that two final payments would be due, both in the amount of $one at piand the other at delivery On June 20, the truck from Cobra Van Lines arrived with movers, of whom were riding in the closed back of the truck and proceeded immediately tell me that it was going to be more expensive than originally quoted, which at this point I would have no choice but to pay because I had a schedule to keep I ended up paying them $for pick-upThey then informed me that at delivery I

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! When National Van Lines picked up my things, they were very nice and I thought I made the right choiceOh was I extremely wrongMy things were supposed to be delivered over a week ago nowNot once did they call me so I called Cobra, the new moving company that I had no idea I got switched toThey were less than helpful, telling me they could not give me any information as to where my things were or approximately when they would be deliveredI explained I moved into a high rise and needed to reserve the elevator and needed to know at least the day beforeNo helpI said I wanted to speak to the manager and he said that was himFinally, I got somewhere in a week when I was given the number to the driver who seemed really nice at firstHe told me he just picked up my things from the original location, days after it was supposed to be here! He was very nice until the day of the moveHe was supposed to be at my apartment at 9amhours later I am writing this review and still nothingWithin these past hours, I have called the driver for the first hours with no answer from him except an automated text saying "I'll call you right back." Never received a callI continually called and told him if they don't let me know when they will be here they will be carrying the things up to the 6th floor because I only had the elevator reserved until That got their attentionThen he proceeds to tell me that someone from the moving company took my stuff this morning at and was supposed to deliver itI asked why I was not informed of this and then he tells me "Oh I just found out." Then he gives me the number of who apparently has my things, he tells me that my things have not been moved and they were at another move this morning that was taking longerI told him that they were supposed to be there at and he says oh we won’t be there until the afternoonThen tells me that the tractor trailer (that I had no idea was involved until yesterday) would not fit into my complexI told him that I have talked to the guards and it has been done beforeHe proceeds to tell me basically that I am stupid and don't know what I am talking about and when I started to fight back, he hung up on meThen I was not able to get in touch with them for an hourHe kept ignoring my callsFinally, I got through and he said he was leaving and should be here in minutesThey finally arrived and hour and a half laterThis is and a half hours after it was originally supposed to arriveI had to pay extra for a long haul, I originally was told that I could pay with a credit cardThe guy had called his manager and explained what I said, the manager proceeded to tell me that no one ever told me I could do this and that I must be lying because they weren’t open yesterdayThe driver yesterday told me I could pay with the credit cardRegardless, he continued to yell at me, at which point I hung up and told them I would go to the bank to get the remaining moneyI asked for my back because I did not trust them to not take the money and runAt this point he told me that he could not give me my money back because they needed to unload the vanI told him, he is not allowed in my house while I am not here and he said they were going to unload it in the parking lotI told him no they can wait until I get back and I wanted to keep the He then told me he was going to charge for me making them waitI told him to get out of my house and locked the doorI made sure the guard knew that they had all my money and if they tried to leave to call the copsAt this point, I had asked them for their names and was told I had to call the main officeGood luck trying to get in touch with themI had finally got ahold of someone and it was the man that said he was the manager beforeI asked him if I could get the names of the people moving me in and he said hold on, another man answered the phone and proceeded to yell at me using my name asking why I was making all this commotionWhy I could not just let them men do their jobI asked him who he was and what he was talking aboutHe asked if I was Lisa and I said I don’t know what you are talking about and he says “I’m sorry I got you mixed up with someone else.” At this point I requested to speak to the original person and he proceeded to tell me I could not, I told him I would not speak to him after the way he was just yelling at meFinally, I was talking to the original man who I then asked who it was I just spoke toHe said it was the managerAt this time, I called this man out about our previous conversation where he told me he was the managerNow he says he is the assistantShockerThe true manager comes back on the phone and proceeds to yell at me and then asks if I am Italian and says that I am disrespectful and asking who raised meI have no idea what that has to do with my moveHe then is talking over me and continues to ask “what do you want, what do you want, what do you want.” I told him if he could stop talking over me for one minute I would explain what I was trying to getI asked for the names of the people moving me in, he then tells me to ask the people moving me inI told him that they would not tell me and that I needed to call the office and I could get that informationHe then asks “what do you want their social security? Their birth certificates what?!” I gave the phone to the driver and asked him to have his boss give me their namesHe then tells his boss “I don’t know what she is talking about, I told her my name is Fernando.” At this point I interrupted him saying that he never said thatAll I wanted was names of the people who are moving my thingsWhy is that something that I need to be yelled at and have racist comments thrown at me forOnly two men actually moved my things, the other sat in the truck the entire timeThen I am supposed to sign a receipt at the end but it does not say the balance is $I asked him to write it and he says oh but it shows you paid it right hereI refused to sign until the balance said and he was angry about that as wellDO NOT GO WITH COBRAThis was the worst experience of my life

Honest!!!!! Charlie is a man of his wordIf your in any way looking to move this is the company I would go withThey moved us from Illinois to New Mexico and it was handled with the up most care and professionalismCharlie is not a brokerCharlie is the MAN of moversThe price was fair and in the end there were no hidden chargesIf there was more than FIVE stars I'd give Cobra Van Lines them allCharlie and his staff were always in communication with usHe even call after all was done and we were settled in to see how we were doingHe'll do the same to youGREAT company to do businessI give the *** Stars

Unbelievably horrific experienceit's honestly hard to fathom that this company can exist in the US and still have a licenseI had a smaller move across the country, with a pregnant wife in her third trimester who desperately needed a smooth movewell, I failed to deliver (no pun intended)Let me start from the top:
- Reassured numerous times from the beginning that "it would take 5-business days, tops" to ship our goodsThis was from the office and the movers when they showed upI asked about the "business days" caveat on the contract, and they said that would be extremely rarewell as I found out, this is standard practiceThere is actually a clause in their contract saying "there is no obligation to abide by oral promises" or something of the like- After signing a preliminary contract to use weight, instead of cubic feet, I was nearly talked into paying by cubic feet, which would have been disastrous if you had seen how these guys load your goodsI stuck with weight, and ended up paying a fair price (if it had gotten there in 5-business days)- The moving guys who picked up my goods were professional, prompt, and actually treated my things with respectas soon as they have your things loaded up, this is a different story- One week in, I called, and a sociopath (Charlie) answers the phone and acts like I am out of my mind for wondering where our things are, "AS ITS ONLY BEEN DAYS! DO YOU WANT SOME KIND OF DISCOUNT OR SOMETHING, COME ON! I told you we have up to business days (not including weekends or holidays)."
- days in - I called, same response"WE HAVE BUSINESS DAYS, WE DON'T HAVE A DRIVER YET!"
- days in - same response"Theres a shortage of trucksbe patient, it'll get there on time"- days in - same responseWe are sleeping on a blow up air mattress, and my wife now has excruciating back pain from being months pregnantnot to mention the emotional turmoil of not being able to get ready for baby given we don't have a single item in the house- Several more calls reveal that they "might be loading up your things soon"- days in - FINALLY get a call that there is a delivery timeless than hours before drop-offA little more heads up would have been nice, given we both work full-time- Delivery day - what should/could have been a sigh of reliefTwo guys, who look like they've been lost in the tundra on ice-road truckers roll out of the car, and literally hurl my things out of the truck on the groundHad me sign a contract that had "Expedia Van Lines" crossed off the top with Cobra Van Lines written inNearly EVERY item they moved was damagedthis is no exaggerationCoffee table edges beat up, bookshelf completely destroyed (broken in multiple places and looks like Mike Tyson chewed on the sides of it), baby rocker (destroyeddoesn't rock at all), TV stand scratched all over, brand new couch - huge rip on the back corner and the feet were severely scratched - looks like a saber tooth tiger had a snack, side tables - all broken or scratched, antique jewelry dresser - the guy walks in and says, "Do you have a drill or something? The leg must have broken off of this thing." I had a drilland I had to replace the leg, among other thingsBar stools - beat to hell with scratches literally on every cornerNearly every box was smashed in with huge holes in oneNice cooler for camping - arm broken off, nowhere to be foundAnd they left it laying on my neighbors doorstep when they leftVery nice trash cans that we got as a wedding gift - looks like it endured a hail storm- I have never seen someone treat another person's good with complete wreckless abandon - tossing boxes, things falling out and rolling on the ground, dropping dressers, chairs falling over onto concreteyou get the picture- The only things that weren't broken/destroyed/scratched, were those that I put in my carand my toothbrush (bravo!)I was actually more impressed by there ability to damage every single item in the housethis must take a lot of practice and skill- The delivery guy was also very pushy with adding a tip, which got annoying, consider I was told numerous times that "tip was included" in the priceI guess I would act the same way if I was contracted out by the one and only, CharlieConclusion - if you enjoy a minimalist camping experience for > weeks, enjoy the thrill of having a sociopathic customer service experience, and want your household items to look like they've been distressed like the jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch, then look no further! You've found your moving company

They smashed boxes, broke three end tables, showed up the night before scheduled pick up, forgot to load two table inserts, and are reimbursing me $for the three broken tables worth $ Horrible experience

Our son was stuck with this company after doing a contract through a brokerage companyInitial fee was about $6k to move him from the West coast to the MidwestBy the time it was actual moving day the cost had more than doubledThe brokerage paperwork said one thing and the moving company was charging thier own priceHe did fire the broker to illiminate one problemHis move would be in excess of $14k
Then there was that day delivery time??? HA!!!
On delivery day he too discovered some damaged itemsThe worst being a big TVHe didn't opt to pay additional insurance feeThey gracefully offered and payed him $ Talk about a scam operation!!! Between the "brokerage company" and less than professional truck operators

He angrily and literally throws my things on the lift gate back into the truck while verbally attacking my character for trying to scam him Scam him? I am the one being scammed In the process he breaks more of my things Hard to believe anything was left to be broken as most things were damaged slightly or severely and some things were simply missing, but I didn't know this yet as I had only seen a few He pulls down the door, tries to dismiss the Craigslist help, and drives away with the lift gate out I talk to the helpers and have them stay promising to cover their time cost so I can get this back on the right track which they do and I am grateful for A couple calls to dispatch and the driver and a minute wait the driver comes back, but only after I submit a photo to him of my full cash payment!

Worst experience ever!!! We hired Cobra Van Lines to move to FL from our home in WIThe way it was handled by this moving company is beyond frustration! piwas ok, although guys lazy and slowpoor customer service, never received a solid answer as when our stuff is gonna arriveThe delivery guy was late and very rude, not professional at allHalf of our boxes did not arrive, table damaged Still have to unpack a couple of things and afraid to see in what condition they are They have no idea on how to handle moves, but offer the "service"! Scam business!

I hired Moving Forward for my move from Illinois to Florida They set me up with Cobra Van LinesMy move was supposed to be a little ove $3,and ended up being over $6,and they said to move all of our things it would be over $10,000! I had to leave about 1/of our things behind, had the top of my car piled with things and the inside fullNow we are trying to scrape together money fo even foodThey wiped us out of all our money, plus leaving precious family things behind, I have been an emotional wreckI want to warn people to investigate deep before you hire a moverEven if you live in the country, like we did, make them come out physically to your house to give you a true estimateI had never hired a mover before and never will againI do not reccomend Moving Forward or Cobra Van linesOh and to top it off, they broke my big TV and don't answer the phone and it says no voice mail is set up

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYYou will only receive firewood for furniture and even if they pack your stuff, it will be delivered brokenThe contract and print on back of Bill of Lading is nothing short of corrupt conYou will not be reimbursed for anythingThey packed our TVs and motorcycles and its all trashedWe moved from WI to Tx and had to sleep on a floor for days and when we eventually took delivery of our belongings, it is trashedThe drivers are supposed to sign off that everything is good but how do you unpack, what took weeks to pack, and inspect everything before they leave.....its a con and you are the mark, have threw up multiple times the morning after when we could actually see the damage during daylight

I recently moved from Neshkoro, WI back to Bridport, VT and decided at years of age that I would hire a company to pack and transport my belongingsIn March, after looking online for moving companies, I was contacted by United RelocateThey provided me a quote based on our initial conversation, scheduled a move date and took a deposit in the amount of $($based on initial quote and an additional $after a second revised quote.) You will regret! The price was fair in the beginning, but you will end up paying triple! Sales telling you what you want to hear, dispatch promising what they cannot doThe driver will hire random people from craigslist to throw your stuff inside your homethe only one good thing about the move was that it finally endednever again!!

VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY STAFFPROFESIONAL PACKING OF MY FURNITURE.....VERY CLEAN MEMBERS WORK....THEY ALSO VACUM MY CARPET ONCE THEY FINISH MY MOVE OUT OF MY OLD APARTMENTTHANKS GUYS

I moved from *** to *** and had a great experience The movers were very polite and fast Kept in touch with a man named Charlie, which I believe is the manager He was very helpful and friendly Had my belongings delivered before I expected it!!! Would recommend this company

Got a moving estimate for $4200, movers came and reviewed pricing, signed a contract for $ The crew packed all my stuff then I was notified that there was “ a glitch” and I wasn’t charged a $administrative fee When I refused to pay this citing the signed contract I was told by “the boss” that I was “white trash” and to suck his *** He then instructed his movers to unload all of my household goods for refusal to pay this undisclosed charge This is the single most unprofessional interaction that I have had with any business in my entire life

I hired White Glove Van Lines on March 28, to move my belongings to Arlington, VAOn April 16, 2018, COBRA Van Lines showed up to pickup my belongingsThe 21-business-day-delivery date for my belongings is May 21, After multiple conversations with White Glove Van Lines, I was told I had to work with the Dispatcher of Cobra Van Lines
May 18, - *** received a phone call from *** - 201-251-(with COBRA VAN LINES) and when *** informed *** she could not receive her items between Tuesday 5/22/- 5/25/due to being in a conference in NYC, *** responded, “Well, big deal, I am in New Jersey.” *** asked *** what type of financial restitution she would receive for failing to deliver her items within the business days *** said; “absolutely not, maybe in you could move across the country for two thousand dollars but not today.” *** then said that *** would have to have someone else sign for her belongings when they show
