Review: As a Christman gift I was given a gift certificate for a facial at Coco's. I made an appointment and when I went in I told them I had a gift certificate for a facial. They didn't ask to see the certificate. I had the facial which was very thorough. During the facial the girl asked if I wanted cologen. She did not tell me it would cost more. I said OK. I wasn't familiar with this procedure, but I thought she asked because some people might have a bad reaction. When the treatment was completed and I gave them my gift certificate they said I owed $65.00 more. I asked why. They said they had done special treatments. I said I had not asked for special treatments that I just wanted a facial. They insisted that I would have to pay the extra. When I complained, they reduced the extra charges by $20.00. I believe I should be refunded the extra $45.00 that I paid as I had not asked for anything extra and they had not informed me that extra charges would apply when they were doing the treatment.Desired Settlement: I should be refunded the $45.00 extra that I paid as I was not informed that the treatment they were doing would cost $65.00 above the $55.00 gift certificate.
