Hello,Customer [redacted] had an existing alarm system installed in newly built Milestone home. All Star signed alarm agreement with [redacted] on 8/30/2016 and customer purchased a glass break and shock sensor that was compatible with GE alarm system installed in the home. On 9-1-2016 customers... existing alarm system was activated/added additional equipment, tested and demonstrated to the customer. [redacted] signed off on the installation completion form on 9-1-2016. All Star had to go back within the week and warranty and replace defective glass break detector @ no charge as it was covered under maufacture warranty. Customer had 3 business days to cancel services per state law. [redacted] sent email on 10-1-2016 stating they no longer needed the purchased equipment. Customer requested the cancellation of monthly service and no longer needs the equipment purchased as they are going with another provider. All Star Security will stand behind installation and warranty of equipment installed. However, All Star Security does not buy back used equipment because customer wants to install another incompatable alarm system and go with a different provider. The equipment was purchased and installed/tested and now owned by customer. There is no packaging and can not be purchased back from consumers for their convenience. Equipment can not be resold by an alarm company to another customer for liability reasons. Customer can keep the equipment, reuse the equipment with the other alarm company, sale the equipment on the open market or sale online. Customer requested the equipment to be removed and I notified the standard service call pricing would apply for non warrantied service. Customer claims the distributor will buy back the equipment/minus restocking fee. I do not have a problem with this but I can not be involved with the customers third party conversation.I will remove for service fee on as customer signed and agreed. I will not be involved with the refund from distributor as her claim is false. [redacted] phone number is [redacted] ***. Sales representative and manager @ the local [redacted] distributor where equipment was purchased told me personally they would not buy back used equipment. This email chain clearly proves be the claim submitted to the Revdex.com by customer is false. Please provide written/email documentation to support customers claimIf an email is provided by customer replying with a date for removal , I will be more than willing to review the documents for authenticityOtherwise the claim is baseless and respectfully request the Revdex.com reverse the claim based upon the factsI *** ***/All Star Security is respectfully requesting the Revdex.com to restore the integrity of our organization and loyalty and service we provide to our customer's. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated. Regards, *** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The business has not address the issue of refundIf I schedule the removal of the equipment -- the business will charge me for itBut, I wanted to know how much refund I'm getting when I have the equipment removedI have already contacted the manufacturer of the equipment for refund but as I stated in my previous messages -- the distributor only deals with the installer! The distributor does not deal with me! I have already attached correspondence with the *** Company them saying they only will deal with All Star Security for the return of the equipment.Who is the sound mind will pay for the removal of the equipment without the details for the refund??? Why would I pay for them to remove the equipment if the business has not arranged with the *** Company regarding the refundThey refused to help us

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:1. None of the equipment were tampered. Our new provider installed new equipment.  2. Section 19 does not mention return policy of equipment. It only talks about ownership.  3. I would return the equipment myself to [redacted] but as I said in my previous messages -- [redacted] only deals with the company that installed the equipment. [redacted] takes returns from All Start and not from the customer.  4. What about prorated refund of my monthly service? Am I not due any refund too?
Regards,
[redacted]

1. Where in the contract does it detail the return policy on the equipment we purchased?2. I have already contacted [redacted] and was told that I deal with the company that attached the equipment. Attached is the email. 3. Even with the service fee and trip fee, we would still get a refund had All Star Security helped us with returning the equipment per [redacted] return policy.4.  Aren't we owed prorated a part of the monthly due?We are disappointed. The service was good with All Star. We haven't been with them for more than a month. We didn't intend to subscribe with them and pay for everything only to find out that there is a cheaper option for us with [redacted]. Honestly, I wanted to leave good reviews but after this ordeal, it's the opposite.

1. Customer owns purchased equipment once paid in full, stated in paragraph 19. There is no return policy, however All Star will warranty installed devices installed by All Star per agreement. [redacted]s residence signed the alarm agreement and have to honor the signed agreement. In which Paragragh 19 states the ownership once installed.[redacted]s residence wants to use another alarm company and they have every right to do so. However, it is not All Star Security's obligation to buy back customers equipment as other company can not use system or associated equipment. If another company tampers or alters system or devices all warranties are voided. At this time [redacted]s is not a customer and All Star will not warranty equipment as system has been tampered with. 2. Customer can reuse new alarm system builder installed and the equipment in question that is compatible with the system builder installed in new home. [redacted] can sell their owned equipment on the open market.canThe fact customer does not want to use system builder installed or associated equipment is on the consumer. This is a decision customer willingly decided and All Star can not be held responsible for their decision. 3. If they want to take their owned equipment to [redacted] they may do so.
