We tried everything we could to make this individual happyI contacted her immediately after my stylist made me aware that she was unsatisfied with her color and was demanding her money backAll my stylists are booth rent not commission,
therefore they are independent contractors not my employeesThey collect money from their clients, not the salonSo technically, I didn't need to reach out to her at all and I could have left it up to my stylist to do what she felt was best but I did reach out to her because I do care what takes place in my salonBecause I was not there and did not see her initial color service take place I told her I would need to see her hair first before I felt it was necessary for my stylist to reimburse herShe came in that evening and because the color was not to her liking I took three hours to carefully fix her hair color and at NO chargeI used great quality products, the lowest volume developer and*** which when used in color repairs the hairs molecular bonds and keeps the integrity of the hairI did NOT place any lightener (bleach) along her hair line nor was she placed under a dryer to heat the hairWhen I was finished she was very happy! I even took her outside to see it in natural lighting and her exact words were "It has so much movement because of how nice the color is placed" and "Her husband was going to be so happy I made her love her hair"If I had broken her hair off in patches around her face and in random spots all over her head, myself and this individual would have noticed that immediately when I was drying her hairHowever, that was not the case at all! Her hair was very shiny and healthy when I was doneIf I do not hold myself accountable for anything that happens in my salon don't you think I would have ignored this issue from the get go and done nothing about it? She was VERY happy when she left and even asked if she could bring me a tip the following dayI told her you already spent $with my stylist yesterday so don't worry about it and I was just glad I made her happyHowever, the next morning I received a text from her demanding her initial payment to be refundedThis is the exact way she handled her first service - happy at the salon before leaving but then unhappy the following dayAt this point I was done trying to satisfy her after all we did and felt she was trying to take advantage because all she wanted was her money back after we invested six hours of our timeIf I truly broke her hair off all around her hairline and head as she claims, don't you think she would be taking me to *** instead of relentlessly focusing on her $143.75???? Exactly! This person is being completely dishonest and making accusations about myself and my salonAll she wants is her money back and there will be no refundPeriod
