I'm very sorry for the communication issues that occurred during this visit.  I spoke with my Service Manager, Chad F[redacted] regarding this complaint.  He did speak to [redacted] after the complaint was submitted.  Chad reduced the diagnostic charge due to the confusion from $130 to $70...

plus tax.  We don't know if the faulty motor mounts were a pre-existing condition but they have lost all their hydraulic fluid and the motor is rocking directly on the subframe causing a very loud audible clunk.  We can't hear any other clunk over this noise and the car has no relevant faults in the system.  We believe we need to make the motor mount repair first to take a diagnose further.  Chad also invited the customer to come in a take a drive with the technician, which I think is the best solution for this problem, but the customer declined.Sincerely,Kenneth K[redacted]Director of OperationsSandia Automotive Corp
