Coconino Pest Control Inc

Our neighborhood, through our H.O.A., scheduled Coconino Pest Control to spray for aphids in the trees. We were notified via fliers in mid-July that this would happen. Understandably, the monsoons came and the scheduled day was rained out. Fine,but... I called twice to be sure that we would be notified of when they would reschedule, as they told us that children, animals, and vehicles needed to be kept away from the trees. Additionally, they stated that windows and doors should be shut due to the chemicals. I was also concerned about wild birds in the neighborhood and bird feeders. Although she assured me that we were on a "special list" to be notified, I felt that the office lady was flippant and didn't care. She proved it by NOT sending out notices for the rescheduling! We were awoken at 6:30 a.m. on a Sat in August with our window open, and they were spraying by our house- no notice! Evidently, they had even sprayed the day before! Negligent endangerment of a neighborhood with chemicals, especially when residents have asked to be notified, is NOT O.K.
