I financed the purchase of a vehicle from Coconut Creek Auto Mall on Aug/11/The finance agreement included GAP Coverage (GAP) and Tire Maintenance,$& $respectivelyIn that GAP was already included in my auto insurance, I didn't need itI admit I didn't read the finance agreement until the following dayI was told by the salesman that he would throw in Tire Maintenance, He never said that it would be at my expense, and it only took a couple of days to realize that all four tires on the car were bad because they needed air every couple of daysWithin a week after I got the vehicle, I tried to canceled both (GAL & Tire Maintenance)The finance man gave me a form which he told me to complete and faxed back to himI told him I didn't want to loose any money, because the Gap agreement, states "If this Contract is cancelled within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase, You will receive a full refund." I went in and placed the completed cancellation form in the finance man's hand on Aug/31/He told me it would take 8-weeksAfter weeks, he said he needed a letter from the finance companyI got that, forwarded it to him and asked if it was what he neededIt took him weeks to confirm yes it was what he neededOkayAfter another weeks, he requested that I sign and return another cancellation form (same form I gave to him on Aug/31/15)I went into the company, asked to speak with the overall finance manager, who had me sign another formLooking back at my treatment, it appeared that the finance managers, had no intention of returning a full refundAnd after seven months of being given the run around, I received check in the amount of $1,by mailI requested a breakdown on the shortfall the same day I received the check (Mar/09/16), Its Mar/24/and I continue to await a responseI also note the after days the check becomes voidIn that I submitted a completed cancellation form on Aug/30/15, and I never used any part of the Tire Maintenance, I'm clueless as to why the check is short by $I can't believe that a big company like Coconut Creek Auto Mall would deliberately steal $from me, a poor person who couldn't even afford to pay a down payment on the vehicle that I purchased / Financed
