One year and days ago we had a complete A/C heat pump and all ductwork replaced by Rainforest Plumbing and RepairThey installed a Payne A/C Heat pump for $Now just days out of warranty we had to pay $to have the defective unit repairedThere new warranty for this repair is only daysWe will never refer anyone to this companyIf you are reading this review< I suggest you use another company

Called them this morning believe are compressor was going out on unit It was over in the house So we called them they were here in hours and had it fixed in a hour The service fast and friendly The price was below what we thought they would have to pay Recommend to anybody

On 10-14-I contacted Rainforest to request plumbing help at my rental property to clear a clogged line in half the house which services the kitchen sink and laundry room A technician was dispatched and snaked the line from the kitchen sink After snaking the line the technician ran and 1/washer tubs and the kitchen sink for about 3-minutes and stated the clog was clear After the technician left the tenants of the house left for the weekend Upon returning on Sunday (10-16/2016) the tenants began to use the laundry and restrooms After a short amount of time the toilets began to become clogged and the bathtub and shower began to run over, toilets then began to seep as well I immediately contacted the Rainforest after-hours dispatch and my call was returned by Henry in the plumbing department I explained the situation and asked if anything could be done about the after hours charges since this should have been taken care of on the Friday service call Henry stated

To whom it may concern On July 1st my property manager sent out a technician to make a plumbing repair since Iam the ownerThe technician said it would be $to make the repair.I thought that this was outrageousTo repair a spigot leak from a inch pvc pipe coming down from the vacuum breaker and leaking at the joint foot deep.the technician replaced the pipe for a vacuum breaker and three-quarter inch copper pipe to a romac jointThe technician quoted me that the cost was $an hourThe job would take hours and parts would be $I live in California and it had to be fixedweeks later my property manager sent out Rain Forest again because the same spigot was leaking The technician said that the vacuum breaker was not working.I told that he should fix it since he was the last one to work on it two weeks earlierRain Forest wanted $to fix it I was extremely upsetI called the supervisor at Rain ForestI thought they should stand by their work and fix it for free since they had worked on it two weeks earlier .They said no ,supposedly it was a different problem.Even though the leak was in the same place .I was able to talk down to $for the job .Again, being in California,I felt I was taken advantage ofI also talked to the supervisor about the $ for the first job .They said the labor cost for hours was $.I had asked the technician,to have all cost in order for labor and partsThe only thing on the invoice was what the technician had done .No breakdown of cost per hour labor or parts .When I talked to the supervisor they said $an hour for hours ,but the technician said $an hour for two hours .So whats the truth .The invoice said flat rate $on the first job.I checked with two plumbing companies about what it should have cost for everything..They said $to $Depending on vacuum breakerI am going to be paying over $for a job that that should have cost much less

On December 6th I called Rain forest Plumbing about a malfunctioning R/O system The technician arrived and was unable to diagnose the problems He did not use any tools, equipment or diagnostic equipment He appeared to be very inexperienced After looking at our r/o system for about min, he made a phone call to his office in order to describe the problem and get advice We were told that our system was most likely too old and needs a replacement, which they could do for about $600- $(when new complete r/o systems sell on Amazon for about $150) The technician also mentioned that "diagnostics" that he had done would cost us $ Showing up at someone's house without any plumbing tools or most common replacement parts, not being able to identify a problem, asking someone else for help hoping to fix it over the phone, is not a proper RO system diagnostic Charging $for this is not acceptable because the company did not perform the diagnostic service promise

I saw our water heater was rusted and leaking out the bottom so I called and they came out the same day and had a new one put in Super clean installation, pleasant technician, done fast I will use Rain Forest again!

On March 3/my unit and unit agreed that the hvac plant would be shut down and our hvac units servicedIt was to be shut down for those units onlyThis had been discussed with them because of this costOn March when the work was performed, RainForest also decided to change ball valves for unit because that unit engaged them to do work after some parts arrived so the repair could be done at a future time
I also understand that when the shut down occurred RainForest did some maintenance work on the hvac system
Also the work on my unit is a concern to me as I indicated on their billAfter the work was completed my hvac did not seem to switch between heating and coolingThe electrical connections to the valves where adjusted timesWhen they left it does work on cool but was told not to switch to heat until that part of the system is back up and runningHow am I to know when that occurred and I do not want to experiment because using cool portion is more impo
