Review: I attend code one training a year ago when I file my last report it was never responded to by code one , I was never able to complete there program after I was told that I can pay 100 cash to do so and was denied that. I was falsely accused of using illegal substance , missing to many days of class ,and not having the grade to complete the class to kick from the program.Desired Settlement: all I want is to complete the class my exam part and move on from this as an EMT, or at least to come to an agreement and terms.

Review: well I attend code one a few months ago and on doing so I too may state and I failed a few parts on it so I was told to come in another day and that day came and I was to go in and I was arrested and had to go with the cops and was held for a few hours and missed my meeting with them and I called again and they told me too come in and talk t them and ask for more money to hire an instructor to test and so I said I will pay with no problem and ill come in and talk to them about how I go about that so I did and I listen to them talk a lot of bt false accusation bout me on how I disgrace there school name by adding there [redacted] to my page and how I have pictures of weed and other drugs things on my page which was a lie and that I endangered the will being of there licences and so forth and how there never allow me to continue the class and I cant get that money back and that there never admit me to any other EMT school and told my mom that I failed there class and was always late and absent which was a lie.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back theirs no point in continuing to try to allow them to retest me.

Code One Training in response to ID # [redacted]

- [redacted] attended Code One Training from February *, 2013 - May **, 2013. [redacted] passed the written portion of the course BUT failed the final state practical sessions.

As stated in our course policy we do not give out any refunds after the first week of class. This incident occurred over three months after his start date.

- [redacted] was the only student in his class that was unable to pass the state practical test.

- NY State requires for all students to have 2 more opportunities to pass the practical test if they failed the original test. [redacted] did fail the original practical test. Code One Training gives the students the specific dates and times for when they can come back and retake these tests. ALL students must be on time for ALL classes and tests. No exceptions.

- [redacted] was brought in to take his second test and failed it yet again. (He was unable to take a set of vitals, which is one of the requirements to become an EMT)

- [redacted] was then given another testing date. Which he did not show up for.

- [redacted] then called us a few days after this and stated that he forgot.

- We then issued yet another date for [redacted]. He called the day after the test date to cancel. We then informed him that the testing date was already missed.

- After this we informed him that he would be responsible for paying the cost of us having to bring in another instructor, because we had to pay for the instructors time when he missed the other 2 sessions. We explained that this would have to be booked ASAP. He stated that this would be ok and agreed to this. But we did not hear back from him for yet another 2 weeks. We considered that amount of time too long, and felt we were wasting our time.

- We then brought him into a meeting at Code One Training and told him that he has failed and due to his past actions he will not be allowed to re-register at our training center. [redacted] stated that he understood and did not ask for anything and left This was around June 2013.

- To address what [redacted] stated in his own statement = During the first part of his studies at Code One it was brought to our attention that [redacted] posted on [redacted] cannabis references and that he partakes in smoking cannabis. Also, while never witnessed by staff, students brought it to our attention that [redacted] smoked cannabis before coming to class and during class breaks. We called him into the office immediately and told him to erase the posts and that we do not want any of our students

involved in illegal drug use while attending Code One. We told him he would be expelled if he were ever caught doing drugs or posting that he is doing drugs on any social network while attending our school. He agreed to take it down and admitted to us that he posted it.

- Although [redacted] passed his written exams, he failed the state practical sessions, which is required in order to be eligible to take the NYS Certifying Exam. And because of his actions and his failure to show up for appointments to retake the practical sessions, he is not fit for the Job of an EMT at this time.

I have read all what was needed to be read and I still will go with the first statement about me being treated unfair and was not able to be refunded my fees at code one and was unable to even take my state which in fact had me wasted my time while attend code one .
