Review: Made agreement with [redacted] to build up the sides of bucket seats top and bottom . .The backs were satisfactory but nothing was done to the bottoms except to leave a big hole poorly patched in each seat.The work was givin to a new employee that was sick causing my seats to be 2 weeks later than was told .My big problem is I was qouted a price of 300 and only got half of job done and took twice as long.

The job in question was brought to us after the customer had already paid another Upholsterer to fabricate seat covers and foam bun modifications. He was unhappy with the results from the original job and brought them to us for more modifications as a drop-in customer. He was told that we were already booked for a few weeks out, and that we would work them in over the next few weeks, as we had time. The customer was given a price for the mods he was looking for, which he considered too high. At that point he offered us an amount ($300.00) that he would be willing to spend on the seats. He was told what we could do for $300.00, which was an apprentice doing the job, with a designated amount of foam and materials. Our shop rate is $60 per hour, and foam is a petroleum product, it is expensive. Employees calling in sick is an unavoidable side effect of having them. We are not in the business of alienating or upsetting our customers. We strive very hard to make and keep repeat customers. We do regret that this customer feels that we did not hold up our part of the bargain, but it is all about perception. While we do everything in our power to try and accommodate every customer, within their budget, it is not always possible. The economy is constantly changing and materials prices are always on the rise.. It is also not the customer's place to tell us what we should charge for a particular service, as we are not forcing them to do business with us. The job was completed to the level that the customer agreed to and paid for, no more, no less. Thank You,Cd'A Upholstery

Revdex.com, we came to an agreeement what he would do for 300 dllrs .. he didnt do it . No mention was given at that time about having a trainie do it, If im charged 60 dollars per hour I want a proffesional.. not a guy in training !
