Review: I rented a property from Coeur d'Alene Property Management. I paid a security deposit of $650.00. When I took possession the house was filthy. I have my Property Condition Report outlining the condition of the home, which I submitted to Coeur d'Alene Property Management when I took possession. They did not dispute my description of the condition of the home. I had to clean the home completely before I could move in. When I vacated the property, I thoroughly cleaned the home. Prior to my moving out, I requested to do an Exit Walk Through. They declined to allow me to conduct the Exit Walk Through with them. Coeur d'Alene Property Management charged me $75.00 for cleaning. Also, my possession terminated on Saturday August 31, 2013. Their office was closed that day, and closed on Sunday September 1, 2013 and Monday September 2, 2013 (Labor Day Holiday). I returned the key on the first date that they were open after the expiration of my lease which was Tuesday September 3, 2013. They also charged me $65.00 which represents 3 days rent. I don't know how they can charge these fees when they were not available for me to return my key. I wrote them a letter dated September 12, 2013 outlining my dispute and requested a response by September 17, 2013. They have chosen to ignore me. I am requesting that you help me obtain my refund of $140.00 which I believe they owe me. Thank you, [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like for the Coeur d'Alene Property Management to return my deposit to me in the amount of $140.00.

This is in response to the complaint that we received. We did rent to Riley and we will not be refunding the deposit of $140.00. She was never told we would not do walk through with her. Her notice might have been till the end of August for her to move however she did not turn in keys until the 3rd of September and we called her on the 3rd and ask her where the keys were and informed her that according to her lease she would be charged rent until keys were returned. She brought them in that afternoon.

Review: my wife and my self are looking for a rental property in the area, when we came across an advertisement for a rental property by the aforementioned company. my wife contacted this company in regards to look at the property, they agreed the day of contact to allow her to go inside the rental house, and see if it was something we would be interested in renting. After viewing the house is where my complaint begins, paper work needed to be filled, and a application needed to filled out .We complied and we were charged 30$ each which is uncommon because in all other applications we are have only been charged once because we are married.

After all paper work was completed we had to wait 48 plus hours for the results, where we were told that we would not be able to rent the property do to credit issues.

I find this disturbing on many levels. first I have just been financed for a car 6 months prior, second I've just been approved for a credit card which I will receive in two weeks, and third before trying to rent a house my wife and my self were looking into buying a house but my credit score was 3 points too low only being a 652. The reason I'm implying a bait and switch tactic is they allowed my wife to view the property charged use both an application fee and then turn around and deny us on something a trivial as a credit score all while keeping the application fee.Desired Settlement: while I would like a refund I cannot prove no work was completed, and I doubt that I would receive what I seek. I would how ever like more information on why I was denied some thing more than "oh you have bad credit" which as I have mentioned seems unusual because of all the positive effects I had with my credit thus far

In response to the complaint – yes we did run credit and back ground checks on [redacted]. We do charge $30.00 per person and they each have to fill one out because of the back ground checks. The reports that we got on them was lower than they stated and if they would like a copy they can get one from [redacted] which is the company that we use. We will not be refunding the money as it states on the application that they give us authorization to run credit and back ground checks.

Review: I rented a house from cda property management for 6 months and paid 1075 dollar deposit. Upon moving into the house we were very disappointed with the condition of the house however we're in desperate need and moved in anyway. The company had us fill out a property condition report and turn it in with our signed lease and deposit money. After the six months we moved out and cleaned the house very well including appliances. In my 30 notice I requested to be present for the final walk through, witch I was denied .When we got our "return" in the mail the company claimed we owes them 706 dollars and some change for the repairs on the house. Repairs included things such as 800 dollars for interior paint, 285 dollars for cleaning, 100.00 dollars to repair the sprinkler system, 182.00 to repair the ac unit. And 362.00 to replace a door know, pressure wash the drive way, and fix a cracked door jam.

On Monday the 28th of July I went into coeur d Alene property management and spoke with [redacted] about the charges. After being treated extremely poorly [redacted] subtracted the 800 dollars for paint from my "owing". I was very appreciative of that however coeur d Alene property management still owes me for the door frame they charged me to replace and labor cost as for it is specifically stated on my move in report that the door frame was broken prior to our move in time. I have also researched the business "all purpose repair llc" as my invoice says, and found that this business is not registered with the state of Idaho nor processes a business license. Witch leads me to believe that this business/ invoice is fraudulent. I have taken credit for the work done on the air conditioner and sprinkler system ( although my sprinklers were never turned on after 3 request to me to the property management company )

As of now coeur d Alene property management has refunded me $145.70, however I would still like to be refunded the remaining amount for the front door frame and labor. I have requested price breakdown for this and have not got a response from either " all purpose repair llc or cda property management "

If it is found to be that " all purpose repair " is not am existent business " I would be asking to be refunded the full remanning amount of the invoice totaling 362.00 otherwise would be happy with the cost of door frame and installation on top of the already refunded 140.70

.Desired Settlement: For the cost of door frame & labor to install door frame ( work done by "all purpose repair"

In response to the complaint issued by **. [redacted] we have resolved his issues and have refunded him the painting and the cost of repairing the door jam. There were mistakes made by both parties due to the property condition report that was given to **. [redacted] was not signed or dated by him, therefore we did not know who had done the damages to the property.
