First, let me start by saying not only is it
frustrating to feel like every drink we make for her is never right but in addition, all of our employees strongly disliked waiting on this woman because of how rude and impolite she is to all of our girlsShe was always rude, short, and never said please or thank you and would always smoke in the driand it would come in through the windowEvery time she ordered a drink she would bring it back and complain and for the last months we spent a lot of money trying to make her happyShe would order the sweetest drink on the menu and add whipped cream which only makes it sweeter, leave, and then come back and tell us it is too sweetYes, most of the time her drink is a different price because depending on who was waiting on her she would order it differently each timeSometimes she would ask for a medium sometimes a large sometimes an extra shot sometimes whipped cream it was always differentThis last time was a new girl that had never waited on her before otherwise she would have asked her if she wanted whipped cream or an extra shot like the rest of us know to do because she always complains about what she is gettingYes our employee asked her to pay for her extra shot because they cost extra for everyone
In her complaint she said "very nastily handed me my drink and yelled to never come back" I have other witnesses here that will tell you I was not nasty I said "Here you go and I think it's best you find a different coffee shop to go to because we just can't make you happy" Also in her complaint she said "I tried to call back explaining"No, she called back and called me a coward and plenty of other names that I do not have to listen to so, I asked her not to call back and I hung up the phone
We have spent the last months remaking drinks trying to give her what she wants, obviously we want our customers to be happy and find something that they like otherwise we wouldn't have worked so hard to bring this coffee shop to Clinton and surrounding areas when we no longer had oneI was a regular at the previous coffee shop and would never treat that owner or anyone else the way she treated us and all of our employeesI will not put my employees through that
I never yelled at her, I have multiple witnesses that agree to everything that I have written here and like I said before our feedback history is nothing but positiveWe have even had customers tell us that they come all the way here from out of town just to "see our smiles" and drink our coffee because their coffee at home "just doesn't cut it anymore" Those are the best compliments we could ever receive and we are so proud of that
We have no desire or intention to treat people the way she said that she was treated, this has been a dream of ours for years and our customers are what make our dream come trueWhy would we turn away a good customer when they are what profits our business? We turned her away because of her awful attitude, the way she treated our employees, and because no matter how we made the drink she was never satisfiedWe can't afford itHad she been polite we would have offered to help her find a new drink, but she gave us no choiceI don't understand why she feels such strong dislike for us or why she would lie about what has happened, knowing there are multiple other people that work here and know the truth
All in all, we have spent a lot of money over the last few months remaking her drinksWe don't think it is fair for her to demand her money back or publish a complaint like this after the stress she has put us throughIn all fairness, she was not truthful in her statements of how the situation was played outPublishing this would not be a truthful, fair situation
