If you're looking for a fencing company I would NOT recommend Jake of All Trades due to a lack of communication and poor business practiceWhen the fence was finally installed it was good quality and craftsmanship, but getting Jake to install it after paying the deposit was a terrible experienceI paid the deposit for the fence on October and we were told it would be installed by the end of the weekNever did we receive a call informing us that the company was behind schedule or that our fence would not get done by the time promisedMy husband had to call and inquire about the fence (multiple times) and each time we were told Jake would get back with usWhile waiting for installation our neighbors ended up replacing a portion of the fence that we had originally asked Jake to doWe were told this wasn't an issue and we'd receive a refund for the portion of the fence that Jake did not need to replace after allIt wasn't until December at in the evening that Jake of All Trades finally showed up to install our fenceHe did upgrade the posts for the fence out of courtesy for the untimliness of the installation, but did not have our refundWe were told he'd be by the next day with the refundIt's now January 18, Jake's phone has been disconnected, and we haven't been able to reach him since the installationI would have gladly paid a little extra to work with a more reliable company had I known this was the experience I was paying forThe lack of communication from Jake and untimliness has been ridiculous
