Review: Our monument was ordered on 2-28. On 5-24, I was promised that the monument would be installed by 6-23. Upon follow-up on 6-5, I was promised installation by the end of the month. On 6-18, I was told the end of the month or the first of July.Additionally, I was told on 5-22 that delivery was being delayed due to rainy weather at the quarry in GA. That information was proven to be inaccurate when I contacted the quarry association in GA and was advised that there had not been any delays in shipments due to the weather.I was also advised that the quarries are not required to close for the remainder of the day anytime that it rains as I was told by a representative of Coggins Marble.I was told that the monument would be shipped from GA by 6-14, I was told on 6-18 that the stone did not ship as expected due to storms knocking out power and the electric cranes not working.Desired Settlement: Installation of the monument by the end of June as promised or a full refund.

Review: I payed in full to have a memorial stone for my son's grave ,and I never got it. I have my paper work, and I have called the police on this matter.

I purchased this stone June 26, 2013. tablet (OR WINGS Litho Black. Marker flat, design D-981 ,size 30X16X4, material GA BLUE, (Finish) face Polished, back BRP, Top BRP, end BRP, with a reversible vase. I payed $688.80 in full. Check number [redacted]. The address of the company I was dealing with is 308 W 5th Street Lexington N.C 27292. The phone number is (336) 249-9929. And it says Quality Name IN Memorials" Since 1898. I have tried to call them but the has been cut off. I went to the office . Every thing is still in the store, but no one is ever their. I even left a note on the door for someone to contact me and they have not . My son died from a drain cancer it was very unexpected. I have not been as focused on things as I should have. Still trying to get it together. But when you loose your only child you never recover. All I want is some answers and a stone on my son's grave that has nothing on it. I am not the only one either .My father has already pre payed for his stone when he passes, and I found out from my cousin that she is waiting for her fathers stone from the same company. The only reason I went to them is because this is here my father went to get my mothers stone, and he had no problem at that time. I don't know what else to say other than I need my money back or my stone for my son's grave. I hope you can help if not please let me know I will have to contact some one else. Review: paid 125 dollars for inscription on mothers monument on 11-1-13. work still not done. I have called and made personal visits to company. Each time I was given an excuse and promised the work would be done soon. Now the company has a closed sign on door and phones disconnected.Desired Settlement: refund so I can hire another company to do the work

Review: On 6-30-2014 I ordered a flat headstone for my mother's grave. I paid Coggins marble and Granite Company $576.72 by check. The check was cashed 2 days later. When I ordered the headstone the man who took the check said they were running behind and it would take up to 6 weeks to receive the headstone. My husband and I contacted Coggins several times asking about when the stone would be delivered. All we ever got was the same answer, It will be within the next couple of weeks. After waiting over 6 months we ask for our money back, the man said that we couldn't a refund and that we would receive the headstone. They are no longer in business.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back and I will go to a reputable company
