Review: CogniMem advertises their CogniStix device ($139) as coming with drivers and software (without which it does nothing).

"The CogniStix Evaluation Platform consists of a CogniStix USB device and the CogniSoft™ Express SDK, which provides out-of-the-box application examples with source code. The device comes ready to plug and play into any Window 7 or Windows 8.x platform computer with a host USB 2.0 or 3.0 port."

When the device arrived, it had neither -- only instructions to register the product on the Cognimem site to download the software. Several days have passed and numerous emails and phone calls remain unanswered or even acknowledged.Desired Settlement: Please deliver the SDK and correct the issue for future customers.

Hello [redacted],Our Normal operation when we receive a product registration has been to provide customers with access to download the SDK within 48 hours. There was a 4-day delay in our response to this customer’s product registration due to short-staffing. In addition, our software matrix for this product was out of date, implying availability of a feature that had actually been dropped. In response to this customer’s complaint we’ve stream-lined our product registration response to enable same-day SDK availability in most cases and have updated the software matrix.
