I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below. First problem is this is far from the truth When I originally made the reservation, the woman who took it said there were plenty of rooms and I could just check in on that Friday, and now this was the last room The gentleman who came down was going to even move us to another room, room to be exact, I couldn't have been that intoxicated to remember that We weren't switching rooms at 1am, and this woman is saying this was the last room availableI did not ask for a first floor room, I did ask for the garden view because the harbor view room was even more expensive Point two, WOW, I was intoxicated after a wedding, isn't that what people do at a wedding I had checked in earlier that day around 2:30, not when we got in at My wife who was also at the wedding, was not intoxicated, because she drove, and is willing to write up her own complaint on this site Third issue is that what I have learned, is that there is no point complaining to GM's or managers, because you get no where This is why the Revdex.com is here, and this is why I use it so other people can be aware of what they are getting into We found out the next day, after the fact from some of our friends who live near by that we should never had stayed there, there words were "it's a rip off." We own a queen size bed, and that was a full size we slept in Thank God Im smart enough to take pictures, which I did, actually took a video with my phone that will show what Im talking about IT WAS NOT A GARDEN VIEW, it was cheap potted plants looking out to a main road that we heard trucks and cars going by all night and then were woken up by a bike race, right outside our slider For our guests next door, they can feel free to say or write what ever they want, they're not my concern Maybe if our patio wasn't connected to there's they would have had more privacy too These complaints are more meant for people to see prior to staying at the hotel, and shine a little light on what they are really getting and not what is falsely advertised on said website Their reply to my complaint would have been damaging to me if I owned a business, which I don't, I'm the consumer who feels we were DEFINATELY ripped off and decided to do something about it So if the Cohasset Harbor Inn wants to keep going back and forth, that's fine, it's there business that will take the hit, not me

[redacted] was a guest at the Cohasset Harbor Inn as hestates on June 26, 2015.The reservation was made on 6/22/2015 and [redacted]reserved one of the last rooms left for the evening.During the reservation process it is customary for ouragents to review the cancellation policy with the guest.This...

cancellation policy is also stated in the e-mailconfirmation we send so there are no misunderstandings.I am confused as to why this is mentioned in [redacted]
[redacted] complaint.The room [redacted] reserved does have a Queen size bedand was on the first floor.  These Garden Rooms over looka small shelled pathway, plantings, flower boxes andthe residential neighborhood of Cohasset.[redacted] checked into the property after the weddinghe attended, @ 11:00pm or so as my Night Auditor checked them in.When [redacted] checked in, he was intoxicated.After seeing his room, [redacted] confronted the NightAuditor who was disturbed by the interaction.[redacted] was extremely loud and animated at the FrontDesk.  Several of our other guests commented on the way [redacted] wasbehaving.[redacted] then stated that he would speak to theGeneral Manager in the morning.[redacted] continued the behavior down the hallway andinto his room.The language [redacted] was using cannot be repeated inthis response.The guests next door to the room [redacted] was in,began calling the Front Desk as their sleep was being interrupted by the loudcomplaining and as stated by the guest, the “vulgar language was offensive”. [redacted] did not mention anything about the TV,Bathroom or size of the bed at the time of his complaint.  The only issuewas the size of the room.Repeated attempts by the Night Auditor to call [redacted]
[redacted] room went unanswered.The guests in the room next door to [redacted]’s, whowere staying for an additional night, needed to be relocated to a suite at thehotel’s expense for guest recovery.[redacted] checked out of the hotel and never asked tospeak to the General Manager and I was at the Front Desk when he checked out.[redacted] was joking around with our MaintenanceTechnician and never said another word about being disappointed.If need be, the guests in the room next door to [redacted]
[redacted] have offered the Cohasset Harbor Inn their full cooperation in writing atestamentary letter regarding the situation that occurred.
