The costumer had a comprehensive eye exam, which was covered by her insurance plan and prescription lenses were customized for the patient's needsBefore making the purchase, a high index material
with premium anti-glare was itemized in terms of costWe explained to the patient the benefits of the high lens quality for enhancing her visionHer eyeglasses were completed and dispensed upon requestPlease do not hesitate to call our office and we will gladly provide any additional information to help with this matter

This is in second response to the complainant referring the complaint ID # ***We have lab invoices showing that the rimless frame purchased in is the also the frame that was reused in 2013, just replaced lenses with a new eyeglass prescriptionThe frame that was purchased in was in fact a sunglass Giorgio Armani frameWe have original lab invoices and sales slips, all validated and dated for the corresponding dates to show of no duplicationPlease feel free to contact us if you have any further questions

We are sorry that *** is not happy with her Tiffany EyeglassesWe were willing to exchange the frame for her at no additional cost to her and even though it has been months after the day
exchange policy but when she recently came in so that we could adjust the glasses we noticed that there was hair dye on the frameThis immediately voids the warranty on the frameWe can try again to adjust them for her to make them as comfortable for her as possible if she would like to returnShe can also go to over locations at her convenience

COHEN’S FASHION OPTICAL *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *o whom it may concern, On March 14, 2015, *** *** *** came into our location to receive an eye exam and purchase new prescription eye glasses***
*** filled out her insurance claim form and doctor record cardThe staff proceeded to check her insurance benefits and relayed her coverage to her stating that her co pay for exam would be $After her exam, *** *** along with one of our associates started choosing her new framesAfter about minutes *** *** settled on a frame of her liking which was a *** * *** frame priced at $The manager at that point came over to price her for the frame and lenses required to complete her transactionAfter applying her insurance allowance of $the frame total became $*** *** lenses through her insurance were a total of $($for ultra thin lenses & $co pay for anti reflective coating)*** *** was also informed that the store offers an extended warranty for her frame which is $(covering any type of brake that could occurred within her first year of having the frames, and that they would be replaced at no extra charge should she have the warranty), which she accepted bringing her total to $*** *** explained to the manager that she would like to see a less expensive frameThe manager proceeded to show her additional frames and after a few minutes, chose a *** *** frame which was priced at $After her insurance allowance of $the frame price would be $Even through *** *** liked the new price, she still decided to go with *** * *** frame, because she felt that they looked better*** *** proceeded to pay for her new prescription eye glasses and after paying was told that they would be ready for pick up in one hourAbout an hour latter *** *** returned to pick up her glasses and requested to speak with the managerShe put on her new glasses and was very happy with the result, and then asked the manager to please go over the prices again, which he did very thoroughly even though *** *** was given the receipt break down at the time of sale*** *** then showed the manager that she also had a $coupon for glassesThe manager explained that coupons & store promotions cannot be combined with insurances programs or vision plans, which is stated on the coupon that was presented)*** *** understood, thanked the manager and went on her way*** ***’s glasses without her insurance would have been $with the coupon appliedIt is always in our store’s interest to help the patients that shop here, and always try to accommodate within reasonThe store does have a no refund policy because all prescription eyewear is custom madeThank you in advance for helping us resolve this situationSincerely* *** *** Store manager

I walked into Cohnes optical and asked to speak with a sales personI was greated by a customer service representative and they ask me "what can I help you with" I told them I had a prescription and would like to purchase glassesI tried on a few and choose a pairThe sales person said that my glasses would be rushed to the store so that I can get them in a timely manner I was told I would receive them in days and someone would call me when they were ready On the 5th day I received no call, therefore I called to see if there were ready I was told they are not ready and they will be there any day now The next day I still did not receive a call, so I called again Once again my glasses were not ready and I was told that they should be ready the next day Its been two weeks and I have been told by a sales person that now the glasses are on back order and it will take days I was also told I would get a loaner pair the next day The next day once again I was told the glasses were not ready or were my loaners ready because the lenses were not ready Ive been told multiple reasons that conflict with what they originally told me Each time I have called thier reasoning for my glasses not being ready are different that what I was told form other sales people The business is extremely unprofessional and they lack proper communication skills with their customers in regards to when their glasses will be ready This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever gone through regarding purchasing a product This company has a multitude of bad reviews from many customers

We Do apologize for any confusion regarding this patients orderThe Customer was in our office and purchased two pairs of eyeglassesHis son picked a frame that we had in stock but wanted it in a different colorWe ordered the product on the manufacturers website and did tell the patient that it states the frame is in stock but takes about 3-business daysWe never promised it would definitely be in by Wednesday but were lucky that it did make it inOnce we received the frame the lenses still need to be Edged and Put into the frameWe do not order lenses to frames until we receive them so that we can insure we order the lens that is appropriate to the fit of the frame and to guarantee that we receive the correct productWhen his friend called to check the status I did tell her that we had received the frame but the lenses still needed to be CutBy the time the job was completed our *** Pick up had already came to the StoreOn Thursday our Lo cation was closed so no deliveries leave the store on ThursdayTherefore the Glasses were not picked up by *** until FridayWhen the Customers were in the store on Saturday the ***, they mentioned not being in a rush the son could come back and pick up the glasses on his next visit to his dadHe did want the glasses sooner so I offered to Ship them At no CostThere was no sense of urgency so we did not charge them to ship it or offer overnight since the original idea was not to pick up for two weeks or soAgain if we were notified that they were in a rush for their glasses we would have overnigthemI the manager was not in the office or in Cell Phone Range to receive any of the phone calls from the other employees pertaining to this matter and to take care of the fact that he was harassing and threatening my employeesThe next day the fill in Manager did call the patient as soon as the store opened to clear everything upThe glasses were delivered *** the next mornin gWe do Ship to Patients and we always say it will take 3-business days after shipment and the customer was given receipts prior to leaving the store on Saturday the *** attached to the credit card receipt

I am looking for receipts and have contacted the credit card company to send the statement for that day. Also, I will contact my credit union since they paid for paqrt of the eyeglass order

I called my insurances they also see a mistake with my transactionThere was no detailed break down receipt nor did the associate explained the additional costThey also processed the claim to my insurance incorrectlyMy insurance company and I are lead to believe there was fraud committed here and we will continue an investigation till we resolve the matter If I need to present a lawyer in this matter, I will do soThe way this company does business is wrong and no one deserves to go through thisI understand this is a retail store and I'm sure their associates have goals to meet but if they need to go so far and do such unethical actions in order to meet their goals then quite frankly there's a way bigger problem here.
