In response to Mr [redacted] complaint #[redacted] dated 3/01/2016. We did in fact work on Mr [redacted] that he brought in for a "Carburetor synchronization and possible re-jet" as stated on the repair order. We removed the carburetors from the bike at the intake boots and inspected them...

finding stock jetting inside and air fuel screws turned out past the Kawasaki factory settings. We cleaned the carbs and re-installed them and reassembled the bike for testing. The day 2/27/2017 we did all this snow had fallen and it was not safe to ride so we went on to another project. Mr [redacted] came to the that day as he did every day wanting to check progress we informed him what we found that theair fuel screws where not adjusted correctly. We started the bike in his presence and found the bike to still have a bogg which we told him was probably the intake boots themselves. Mr [redacted] then questioned us why he would have to pay again to pull the bike apart to check the intake manifolds, we tried to explain diagnostic work like this sometimes takes a while and now that we had the bike set back to factory settings we had the baseline to tune from. He asked to just pay for what we had done and he would take the bike. The next day Mr [redacted] informed us he had checked and in fact the intake boots where leaking he sent me some photos showing this. We did not pull the bike down this far to check, because it is not required to Sync the Garbs or re-jet. Mr [redacted] was only charged for one Hour ($92.40) for a job that requires more time and our quote was originally ($125) for the job we had done. Hope this clears some things up, I feelwe did exactly what was asked of us and this is just a misunderstanding, we are sorry for how it turned out, we have a very good track record for customer service.Mark A[redacted] PresidentColbert Power Sports
